The financial investment in staff and facilities in football versus basketball speaks for itself. Putting butts in the seats of Allegiant is what's going to lift this athletic program up the fastest. 1

4UNLV
We'll see. https://teamnbsmedia.com/doug-brumfield-unlv-qb-thats-about-to-be-great/ The concept of a dual-threat quarterback is no stranger to UNLV as the home of the rebels is home to one of the greatest dual-threat QB of all time. From 1981-1984, Randall Cunningham was the Rebels’ main man and he parlayed his impressive college career into three All-Pro selections and four Pro Bowls. His number is retired by the university. UNLV’s last bowl win (2000 Las Vegas Bowl) came on the shoulders, arms, and legs of Jason Thomas. Originally a USC commit, John Robinson brought him to Vegas where they achieved the greatest amount of success the Rebels have had this millennium. Now the lights shine bright and Allegiant Stadium is set to witness the next physical form of greatness. A lengthy, 6’5, left-handed duel-threat quarterback has the Mountain West on alert as Barry Odom looks to give UNLV its first winning season in about a decade. Let’s look at the talented and promising Doug Brumfield.

A healthy Brumfield would be great. An extra 2 seconds after the snap to look downfield would be outstanding.

rebelcuff
We seem to be getting some athletic guys on defense. Kind of reminds me how JRob got us some nfl guys when he came in. He got Adam Seward and Ryan Claridge.

Poster17
UNLV also a had a Prospect Day this past Saturday at the FFC. About 75 prospects both local and out-of-state were invited to the FFC to meet with the staff, shown the facilities, and taken to Allegiant. This staff just gets it. I'm very impressed with what they have done in such a short time. The offers and commits show a commitment to attack recruiting like a SEC school. They are shooting for high end kids. All the coaches talked about winning a championship now. They do not call this a rebuild. Everything out of their mouth was about winning a championship next year. Also, from what I could gather, they have great confidence that a move to the PAC-12 is only a matter of time. 3
