  1. Every now and then, I need a Sunday afternoon Kelley's Hero's fix. It's kind of like McLintock or Silverado. It's just time to watch it again.
  2. Broke ass conferences. 4 games without subsidies? Unlikely.
  3. Rolo needs to quit whining. I like Hawaii, but not enough to lose money making a trip for a game that starts at Midnight Mountain Time. Hawaii needs to start by banning playing any home game after 2PM, then we can revisit subs.
  4. Well thanks for dropping by dumbass. No, you're not a Cal grad and no, you don't speak for the PAC 12. But you did manage to show up (sock up) during troll week. Go figure.
  5. LMAO at the University of California - Berkeley president coming to the MWC board to explain their stance on scheduling. Thanks for dropping by.
  6. Note to PH8675309. What Body Bag is describing is a bad thing. Just to keep you in the loop.
  7. Yeah, mine comes in 100% Thor, God of Thunder. Don't know what to make of that.
  8. #2 is an overstated condition. Given P5 money and recruiting, almost any school can have their programs at a P5 level in a short time. To me, 1 & 3 are going to be the biggies.
  9. Yes, and they'll do it again.
  10. I hear a lot about "going indy". I think Hawaii could pull it off. I doubt any of the other MWC teams could. As far as the current MWC platform, that needs to change and it will.
  11. The PAC will not be adding any MWC teams by 2020. The Pac will not be adding any MWC teams in the next 10 or 20 years. Probably not ever. I don't mean to be a Negative Nancy, I just don't see it happening.
  12. Get real man. We get our coaches and women from the SEC. Got no time for the inbred Poke offerings.
  13. Sweet. Taking the Poke cheerleader approach. Nice touch.
  14. Like I said. You are reading it correctly from a black and white standpoint, and I admit that I'm reading between the lines. Making an interpretation. In the long run, I'll be right. We'll see.
  15. You are correct about reading in between the lines, but I still feel that I'm right. I do believe that a team can show up to opening day with no more than 25 signees. If they signed 25, and two left that means that they only have 23 signed and can add two. I agree that your interpretation is the strict black and white interpretation, I just don't think that's how the NCAA works. My point is that you cannot sign more than 25, but if you lose one of those 25 you can go find another player to fill your class. You just can't proactively get 26 LOI's based on hedging your bets regarding a HS or Juco players qualifying or not. The biggest thing here IMO is to avoid Ed Orgeron signing 32 players and then letting 7 of them go, or lining up a group of greyshirts that you can then change your mind on while they delayed enrollment until next year thinking they were good to go. I don't think the intent of the rule is to force coaches to be much more sure about who they sign (although that is a by product), I do think the intent is to stop some programs from screwing over kids. It will definitely do that. A very rare move by the NCAA in that I approve of it.
  16. So, we're reading the exact same info and seeing two different outcomes. Hardly worth you and I arguing about, but I'd suggest to the NCAA that some clarification is in order before this takes effect.
  17. No, now they oversign. Like 28 players and we'll get the schollys right after some fanaggling. "OK, we gave 28, but two of those go against last year because we were under the limit and those two will come in for the spring, the other guys is a greyshirt and won't enroll until next spring." I think this still allows 25, it just takes away all the games. If you sign 25 out of HS for instance, and one guy can't pass history and fails to get the GPA, then you go get a Juco that nobody else wanted. I agree it will require a lot more discipline by coaches to look at a players academics, but I do think they can still end up with 25 every year. Just no greyshirts or shenanigans.
  18. Early signing...benefits G5, but mostly benefits the student athlete. I bet it's moved from December to November when it passes. Signing limits...I saw it slightly different. Slightly. I see it as a team can only have 25, but if a player fails to qualify they can go get another one. However, no more signing 30 players to a LOI based on a projection that some of them will not qualify. You can still replace a non qualifier, just can't do it preemptively. Again, benefits the student athlete. I like all these changes.
  19. All right Frog, you're back and that's a hell of a rebound. We've got a couple of weeks before the tourney, and I'm thinking with a little effort you can roll in as a #1 seed. Need to continue to keep things casual, appearing as trying to be helpful, but still with the subtle backhanded disdain. I've got money on you making the finals. I've got someone else down as the champ (sorry, idiocy does tend to reign in these things), but I think we can get you to the title game anyway. Stay focused, post daily, make each post count, and really research your opportunities. You can do this. We got this bro!!
