  1. Dude really, really has to start prepping his replacement. He can't keep doing this forever.
  2. Please do not discourage Ozzy from posting. Entertainment dollars are at a premium right now, and he definitely comes on the cheap. More Ozzy!! More beer!!
  3. Yeah, I remember. that's why I said in "that case". As in it would not do well to rotate it. If it can't be in Vegas, then a true neutral site would be in order. I'd prefer SLC for travel considerations in that case. It needs to stay in Vegas though, and the T&M is fine by me. If the Rebels think they're getting shorted by the NCAA committee, then find a new venue in Vegas. When UNLV is good, they'll have far more fans and when they're bad almost none show. It is what it is. There is a home court advantage to be had, but it's not guaranteed.
  4. Just having fun. The point is, that there are a number of NFL arms in the MWC in any given year. It's the one's with the NFL heads that tend to whip folks ass.
  5. Superhuman? OK. Are you currently studying with @halfmanhalfbronco? I enjoy the hyperbole, but the only superhuman QB in the MWC is currently studying for a social studies exam at Long Beach Poly HS as he prepares for his debut as a RAM.
  6. Better to just move the tourney to SLC or Phoenix in that case. I mean it's only in Vegas because it's a tourist trap. If you're going to take it out of Vegas, then pick a neutral site and stick with it. Poke fans will survive since you can buy booze in SLC now.
  7. I don't believe any QB is going to start at Wyo if he's there to run the ball. That's always a very important component in a late Laramie fall, but I do think Sawvel is looking to open up the offense as much as possible. A QB will earn his spot on how well he feeds his WR's IMO. At least for Wyo's sake I hope so. Hell, they can all run.
  8. Nobody goes to women’s games already, generally speaking. You’d save a lot on travel, and it would increase women’s attendance on the billygoat side of the conference. It’s a days commitment for most Ram fans and almost all Poke fans anyway. They’d likely jump all over the undercard women’s game if it were scheduled.
  9. My comment was regarding Murray, not his list. I didn’t read it because Murray is an idiot. Stevens or LeDee as POY. I wouldn’t argue against either. Both elevate their teams in a slightly different way. Both are intimidating to have on the court. I would applaud either getting the nod, regardless of where their team finishes. Does LeDee have another year? If so then Stevens will win it, politics. If not then I think it’s a toss up.
  10. If my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle. So what?
  11. Soooooo overrated. Yeah, I think the players do notice a difference. I think that difference becomes almost zero with a couple of days of practice with the other ball. That's the same thing I told folks on Ramnation when they were blaming CSU losses on the Nike ball. I do think the NCAA needs one basketball, and one only though.
  12. Yep. Nationally, I don't think folks realize just how deep and TOUGH this conference is.
  13. Thank You Lobos. Stuck in Laramie tonight at same hotel as UNM. I asked one of your coaches at the hotel to please, please kick Wyo's ass. I owe him a beer.
  14. Look at the crew. This is bottom of the barrel "look at me" talent.
  15. Production capability needs to be part of the conference master plan. There needs to be some standards.
  16. Murray’s an idiot. I can’t even read the list.
  17. Agreed, but “big fish, small pond”, or “small fish, big pond “ might be the game. If we’re sharing with SEC/B1G, then we might be better off sharing with the rest of the also ran’s. I want to see how it shakes out.
  18. Maybe. Might be a good reason to stay there. Let’s see how the details shake out.
  19. Yes, excellent point. However, the camel's nose did just get a little further under the tent and the camel isn't being sneaky anymore. This shit is moving at light speed compared to the last 50 years of collegiate athletics.
  20. It was a different political and legal climate. I think this has a chance. At least a chance of setting some precedents in the process that will benefit the next effort. In fact, unionizing athletes being the next step likely benefits the schools more than the players. At least there would be the potential for collective bargaining.
  21. They ain't dead yet. Just ask their presidents.
