  1. Putting innocent people to death. https://www.foxnews.com/us/philadelphia-death-row-inmate-freed-after-conviction-in-childs-murder-reversed I favor the death penalty in theory, but I’d rather see all of those convicted spend their lives in prison than put one innocent person to death. Having said that, if I were a governor or president, there are many people on death row whose sentences I wouldn’t commute. Wishy washy I know.
  2. I took a Covid antibody test the other day on the way home from work. My appointment was at 6pm and I had my results 8:30am the next morning. They did a blood draw, not the swab test. Best of all, my insurance paid for it without needing a referral from my primary care doctor. I was surprised at how quick and easy it was.
  3. Again, as I said in another post, I don’t condone anything this kid said. If this kid is poor, then he just lost out in a “free” education and whatever benefits come from it for something he said when he was about 15 years old. His life is potentially ruined or severely hampered. There are other ways to punish him like keeping him on the team and having him address the entire team apologizing for the things he said and the embarrassment it brought to him, his family, teammates, university and for offending so many people. They could also make him take part in community outreach as a
  4. There is a lot of time between now and LOI day and I fully expect to lose some commits to other schools and losing one to SDSU would not be a surprise, but losing one to UNLV would suck.
  5. Yeah, historically the Republicans had a strong backing from the military, but he’s throwing them under the bus now too.
  6. I have no idea what he said and don’t condone it, but 3 years ago he was 15 or 16 years old. Kicking him off the team seems excessive.
  7. He also said he’s going to vote against Cory Gardner because he won’t stand up to Trump even though he also hates Hickenlooper.
  8. My Dad, who spent 30 years in the Air Force and always votes Republican, said his vote this year will be to get Trump out of office. He’s been pretty critical of Trump the past month or so, but I think the Mattis thing was the final straw.
  9. This thread proves that voter fraud is real. All of the Biden supporters created socks so they could vote multiple times. LOL.
  10. I think the early polling shows that a few people who typically vote for the Republican nominee are planning to vote for a third party candidate. While not statistically significant, it does raise a few questions.
  11. Trying to look like he’s a part of the Aryan race?
  12. Another couple Biloxi, Mississippi stories from the mid 80s. 1) My brother’s best friend’s dad was in the KKK and proved it by showing my brother his outfit. 2) My best friend said that his parents had a rule that blacks weren’t allowed in his house. One of our other mutual best friends was black and he came over after school one day and barged in against my white friend’s frantic attempts to not let him in. It was hilarious. The parents were at work. At least in this story, I could see how bigotry was breaking down from my friend’s grandparents to his parents to him and finally to his
  13. I lived in Biloxi, Mississippi in the mid-80s. My friend and I used to mow yards for money and one of the yards we mowed was for a city councilman. One day it was super hot and dry and there was a lot of dirt that got kicked up which stuck all over us since we were so sweaty. When finished the councilman came outside and said, “You two boys look like a couple of “n*gg*rs.” I was dumbfounded that day and still am. It has never left me to think that a public figure was that open about his racism. I am white, if it matters.
  14. Where are you getting your rankings from?
  15. I don’t believe you nor do I believe you even looked at the link. It gives multiple options for participating and none of them are for particular areas. If you’re serious, then sign up. If/when the time comes, they will contact you.
  16. Would you purposefully expose yourself to Covid-19 if given the chance? Here’s your chance. https://1daysooner.org
  17. Las Vegas WR commits to CSU. Gerrick Robinson, 5-11, 165lbs. https://www.google.com/amp/s/247sports.com/Article/Colorado-State-Rams-Football-Recruiting-Las-Vegas-Centennial-three-star-Gerick-Robinson-commits-147044523/Amp/ Suck it UNLV.
  18. My previous company had a Roth 401k option, but the company match went to a traditional 401k. My new company has something similar although I think the match is pre-taxed to? I’m not sure.
  19. I’m glad I’ve had the opportunity to put a large portion of my 401k into a Roth 401k.
  20. George Miki-Han, 6-1, 300lbs, OL from Mater-Dei HS in California. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.ocregister.com/2020/05/05/mater-dei-all-county-offensive-lineman-george-miki-han-commits-to-colorado-state/amp/
  21. I don’t think so. I think it just means that each team would get an extra bye when scheduled to play AFA or whatever school is not open.
  22. Punter, Jackson Ray commits to CSU. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.coloradoan.com/amp/5161289002
