I'm not disagreeing with you that they should have fouled. I'm disagreeing with you that it was a done deal provided they did that. I'm disagreeing with you that the rebels lost because they were the only ones that acted sub optimally down the stretch. There was an atypical and intense amount of sub optimal ref actions that also affected the game.

I'm not saying unlv didn't make mistakes or played optimally, but they weren't the only ones that made mistakes that affected the outcome of the game. What are the statistics on the refs calling that foul or giving the ball to usu on that out of bounds?

Maybe. Who knows? Rebels foul, usu gets two free throws, then the refs call a wiener foul on UNLV on the in bounds, usu hits two more ft. And around and around we go. Who knows?

The rebels aren't required to do everything well. Utah didn't play perfectly either. It's hard to overcome two awful calls late like that. It's too much to ask. I feel for the guys.
