  1. Don't know if it's been posted already, but apparently Gloria is meeting with Wazzu this week:
  2. He paid for verification and Big 12 Insider isn't even a real site (look at the bottom of the page): http://big12insider.com/
  3. What's with these random West Virginia Twitter accounts pretending they're insiders?
  4. Wasn't that mainly because CBS/Fox wouldn't give us more money for them. There weren't any realistic targets that moved the needle for them. Maybe with WSU/OSU that changes things and they see adding UTSA/UNT as taking from ESPN and adding Central Time Zone games.
  5. If they're actually going to have a vote, then they have to think they have the votes. They wouldn't bother otherwise.
  6. You can pay $8 a month for a chance to earn $0.000001
  7. Are you trolling or actually serious? No chance it passes in a landslide. IF it does managed to pass, it would be by a tiny margin based on the results of the first attempt where NO won by ~6%.
  8. Yeah, there was some of that in there, but he just seems completely ignorant of the current state of streaming (i.e YouTube TV is already rolling out multiview) a lot of that stuff is super niche though and isn't a significant enough differentiator to make up for the loss in exposure to the greater CFB viewer base.
  9. ASU President was all in on Apple and was dragged into the B12 by AZ and their regents. WSU/OSU must be dying inside. Listen to him describe streaming like it's a new thing (everyone thought his "Star Trek" thing was about the AR headset):
  10. Apparently Vingle and Luck went to college together at WVU. Here's the podcast he was just on:
  11. Yeah, he was the longtime WVU beat writer for one of the local newspapers: Edit: https://muckrack.com/mitchvingle/articles
  12. Don't know if this has been posted, but seems that Luck is consulting for WSU/OSU, not the PAC as a conference (which makes sense since WSU's President threw GK and his media consultant under the bus): Bonus: MHver3 (and Canzano indirectly since he's the source for the SBJ article) gets dunked on:
  13. Sure, but before 2021 they had 6 straight losing seasons. They're acting like they've been a perennial power.
  14. Wasn't ECU an AAC bottom feeder until recently?
  15. They aren't getting a full share from the AAC
  16. The AAC dissolving isn't going to happen and a mass exodus isn't either. The whole "best of the rest" scenario is a Twitter fabrication and will remain that. The premise of my question was four teams leaving the AAC to backfill the PAC to allow them to remain an FBS conference and help fill their schedules. In this case, UTSA/UNT could stay in the American or jump ship. 2025 is when it gets dicey. Supposedly Cal/Stanford are only interested in SDSU from the MWC. So, we could potentially just lose one team. The risk of these teams jumping to rebuild the PAC is that Cal/Stanford will jump at the first chance to move to the B1G/ACC.
  17. Again, this guy's ability to craft a narrative from nothing is impressive. Being consistently wrong and still having people believe you is something else. Let's play along though: assuming the Pac-4 does take the usual suspects (Tulane, Rice, SMU, Memphis/USF), why shouldn't the MWC go on the offensive and try to poach UTSA and UNT?
  18. One things for sure, if the PAC4 does anything with the AAC, under no circumstances should we let them park their Oly sports in the MWC. Let them travel across the country or go to the BW/WCC.
  19. This guy's hilarious. How does he make up so much shit and try to keep all his narratives straight? Aresco is basically an ESPN puppet, why would they allow the AAC to merge/dissolve and lose the inventory to Apple?
