  1. People say they want an entertaining offense. But I can guarantee as soon as the team loses a game or two attendance will dip regardless of the offense.
  2. Why do people assume a DC would be a head coach that wouldn’t want a dynamic/modern offense? As an Aztec fan our only success in the modern era has come with defensively oriented HCs and frankly I care about winning more than the team being “sexy”.
  3. It’s distributed not bits just like every other school. The proof is in the revenue generated by ticket sales. Even at the Q with bargain basement pricing SDSU was typically around the top of the Conf for fb revenue. Unfortunately the moment the city knows the team isn’t that good attendance craters. It’s the downside of being in a big city with people who value their entertainment over the local culture and supporting the teams. Same basic truth applies to UCLA/Cal/Stanford.
  4. Spaztecs favorite teams in order 1-3 BYU, USU, Fresno 4-99 100 SDSU
  5. Is there any info about Olys? Will the PAC2 be playing an MW BB schedule, for example?
  6. Seems like the MW wouldn't agree to a scheduling alliance without additional penalties beyond exit fees if WSU/OSU decided to poach schools. It doesn't mean they are joining the MW in two seasons. More like the PAC2 want a chance to reevaluate their options in 2 seasons...just in case.
  7. Why don't they just merge now? It seems like they are still hoping to join the B12.
  8. Some schools and communities have been slower to adapt to NIL. However, I would think that BYU may actually be fairly competitive. Which programs have the most NIL potential in the new B12 in your opinion?
  9. Not sure how good this team will be at the end of the season but I will be shocked if we don't notice KJ's absence down the stretch.
  10. Little ole SDSU made the PAC hire Kliakov, fumble their negotiations, and force the Big Ten to offer UW and UO. Amirite?
  11. As you should be, it's not hard to cheer on the most winning program in G5.
  12. Miss a bowl or two in a row, then it will be impressive. Boise should have the best G5 fanbase considering the last 20 years. Fresno's FB program regularly does the Gekyl and Hyde thing, their fanbase is impressive through that bs. They've had 4 losing seasons out of the last 10. When was the last time Boise had a losing season?
  13. SDSU dropped a game...now UNLV. Maybe the schedule changes will be how we figure out who's joining WSU/OSU.
  14. Are you using cable? Man, I could've sworn you were a teenager, instead you were secretly a boomer this whole time. Nice. Anyway, its on most of the streaming services for no extra fee.
  15. Have you ever beaten Boise twice in a row before?
  16. Simple math says if you limit the division-level schools to just 65/66 from the current number a significant portion of those schools will have poorer records than they are historically used to. Part of why you bring the top 32 G5s or so is to provide some fodder and depth. Allowing the bottom half of the P4 to have better records than would be possible with a full split off of the P4. If you then pair those 104 schools with the top 3 or 4 bb conferences you can basically breakaway from the NCAA and return the NIT to its former glory. Right now even with greater voting power, D1 of the NCAA is a bloated behemoth.
  17. I think I made it clear in my first sentence that it's a long shot, if not outright impossible. The move is more about further consolidation of power and potentially an NCAA breakaway.
  18. If the G5 has any chance of staying with the P4, it will be through consolidation to limit our voting power. As an example, the MW eats a portion of the AAC, and the Sunbelt eats most of the rest, then you leave MAC and CUSA behind. In that scenario, you end up with P4+2. With 7 votes total, 4 from P4 + 1 from ND, and 2 for the so-called G5, the top-flight programs get the division-level fodder they need while limiting the influence of the smaller schools and conferences. That model would also seem to pull in most large cities and urban areas that may not currently be part of the P4. BIG = 20 SEC = 20 B12 = 16 ACC = 16 MW+ = 16 SBC+ = 16
  19. Jack Murphy/ The Q Snapdragon Sam Boyd Rose Bowl LA Coliseum ASU (Mountain America?)
  20. Lmao at using who was there first to rationalize Israel only to then move the goal posts entirely when Native Americans get brought up. You know, those people that were here before any Europeans or "relocated" Africans.
  21. I'm not sure if any of the stories have officially been validated by the government. But aren't there specific examples of UAP disarming nukes? I'll be honest: I still find it extremely unlikely that aliens would visit us unless they created us and knew we were here or future humans cracked the code to reality and figured out how to go back in time, which frankly seems as wild as aliens traveling light years to find us. That doesn't mean I believe the "visitors" created us. Still, it would seem to be a more likely explanation than the other two(randomly found by aliens, future humans traveling back in time)...and maybe why those in the know have made comments about the humbling nature of the "truth".
