  1. Based on your inability to formulate any fact based response to my question, I must assume that you have determined that my post was accurate. Thanks, I thought that my assumptions were probably correct, but since I don't live in the fine state of Nevada (and wasn't interested enough to do the research), I wasn't sure. Who knows, maybe someday I'll be "knocking back 30k/yr in some cubicle". Anything can happen. You know it's not too late for you to get a good education, but you'll have to actually attend class..
  2. Specifically, what is inaccurate in my post? (Feel free to look up the "economies of scale" thing!) Go Aztecs!
  3. Its fun to see the "rivalry" between UNR and UNLV. Las Vegas is a fun place to visit. I'd rather live in Reno/Reno area, if I had to choose. When you pay state taxes, it goes to the state, not to your city or county. State legislatures, usually dominated by politicians from the most populous areas/cities, decide how state money is spent. Las Vegas, being a much bigger city, has economies of scale as compared to Reno (humm..this might be too advanced for graduates of either UNR or UNLV to understand ). My guess is that the Las Vegas area gets far more state money, but Reno gets more per capita. Have at it. Go Aztecs!
  4. Yes, the cadets have to buy season tickets and most have to attend the home games. But, there are only around 4,000 cadets at the Academy.
  5. A power running attack is a win - win for both the offense and defense. I loved it last year, even though a lot of Aztec fans complained loudly that our offense was boring and that we needed to pass more. Wrong. We need to go back to the smash mouth running attack and a willingniess to run the ball on 4th down and short. I'm not convinced that Coach Toledo is interested in running the ball. This might be a case where Rocky needs to step in and make it clear to Toledo that we are a run first, run often team. One can hope. Go Aztecs!
