Our special teams, with the exception of Baron, are not so special.

Nevada has some powerful backs.

I think that we need them both...

Sure looked like he might have stepped out. Seems like the review should have taken longer.

Whatever. I just thought Wyo (and Bohl) was classier than that.

Keep banging your tin cup on the sidewalk and eventually the P5 are going to get fed up and break away. Then you'll get your fair shot for "your" championship, and 90% of college football fans won't care. I'll say it again, Ohio State has played in two games this season that drew a higher television audience than the entire slate of MWC games. Overestimating one's hand usually doesn't end well.
And I'm someone who thinks UCF should make the playoff this year and a G5 should get an auto bid to an 8 team playoff. But don't think that anyone outside of some G5 diehards on message boards are clamoring to see multi-loss sunbelt champs anywhere near a playoff.
Oh, I guess that I forgot my place as a fan of a lowly G5 team. Please accept my apology and know that in the future I’ll only trumpet the virtues of the P5 and gladly accept the crumbs that fall from the table, for fear that they may leave me all alone. Or even worse, with Fresno.
Sheesh.

The NFL and CFB aren’t even comparable. The idea of the SunBelt champ getting an auto bid to a playoff is so preposterous I am wondering if some of the folks posting here need medication.
In 2010 the Seahawks won the NFC West and made it to the playoffs with a 7-9 record. Somehow, the NFL survived.
I don’t see any problem with a real CFB playoff that includes the Sunbelt Conference Champion.
BTW, those Seahawks defeated the favored, defending Super Bowl Champion NO Saints before losing a close game to the Bears in Chicago.

First off, I didn’t create the situation, nor did I say only blue bloods should be allowed. I just told you how they they view the situation. I’ve also seen both side of the fence. Competing in a P5 on a weekly basis is MUCH harder. Sorry but many fans here only see one side of the coin.
I’m all for giving a deserving G5 team a shot but they shouldn’t get in on the backs of a cupcake schedule.
Who is “they”? If you mean those schools that benefit from the status quo, then I couldn’t agree with you more.
In the NFL every division winner makes the playoffs regardless of record or power ranking. Why should CFB be any different?
Can any reasonable person deny the recruiting boost that G5 schools (especially upper tier G5) would experience if each G5 conference champion received an auto bid?
Colleges that claim to be bastions of liberal thought and fairness are exposed as frauds when money enters the equation.
Hence, the status quo.

Blue blood progams have been putting in the work, money, donations and filling seats in 100K seat venues for decades. Why should a program with zero history laced with apathy with no following or support be given the same access?
While we’re at it, let’s pay everyone the same wages no matter their history, intelligence, worthiness and education.
The equality you speak of only rewards failure and breeds more apathy and laziness.
You see unfair, I see a natural selection, market driven, supply and demand driven process.
The have nots are only held back by themselves.
This is an entitlement attitude - only “blue bloods” allowed. If SDSU wins the MWC Championship then they have earned the right to represent the schools of the MW in the playoffs - period. It doesn’t matter if another school has higher attendance or has won more more championships in the past.
Until the day comes that EVERY college FB player, on the morning of their first game, has a fair chance to be the National Champion...until that day, the idea of a true National Champion is rubbish.

Very unfortunate. You can talk trash before the game, but try to win with some class.
Coach Bohl has some coaching to do with his team.

Both of these teams have intently studied game film of the SDSU offense...
