Considering attendance is trending down in all sports I would be more concerned with tv ratings. Outside of the marquee sec and big ten schools aren't almost all colleges seeing a dip in attendance?

Hawaii is a hell of a lot closer to where it would need to be academically to be considered for the PAC then Boise. In terms of mwc teams as expansion candidates I think Boise ranks a distant 4th, behind Hawaii, UNLV, and UNM.

They have time. We probably won't see any more moves by the power 5 until the big 12's (and ACC's) GOR expires. And isn't Hawaii also a 'state' school, research school, and offers a new (albeit smaller) market?
