  1. Tim Williams should have a really nice day, Hokies aren't particularly big from what I understand. Question is going to be the preseason player of the Elijah Brown. He missed almost the entire preseason with a hamstring injury, and he's looked a bit off early in the year. We really need him at 100% if we want to make a run at this tourney.
  2. My mistake, the California schools are all the same to me.
  3. This will also be Neal's first chance at a win over a P5 team, he's currently 0-9 (though he does have a win over Marquette if you count the Big East)
  4. Happy Thanksgiving guys! Lobos play what is IMO our biggest game of the year in a few hours on ESPN. They're opening The Wooding Legacy with Virginia Tech. If we win, we'll likely move into the side of the bracket with Texas A&M, UCLA and Dayton. If we lose, we're probably moving to the side of the bracket with UC Riverside, Portland, and Nebraska. It'll be a really tough game, Hokies should be a tourney team and Vegas likes them by 3.5 points.
  5. So for example those of you who are generally more conservative, what issue do you disagree with the right on? And those of you who are more Liberal, what do you disagree with the left on? As a Liberal, I always roll my eyes when I see the left complain about nuclear power, I'm extremely pro nuclear power
  6. LOL. I'd completely forgotten about this. I was in like 45th place last time I checked, now I have a decent shot to win
  7. Not a bad day. Little Rock, Yale, Wichita, and Gonzaga (for now) made me seem smart. Iona and Stony Brook made me look like an idiot. Went 2 for 3 on the 8/9 games and went chalk on everything else. I did call every single upset today which was cool, but I picked a ton so that kinda gets negated a little
  8. In big pools I always pick a ton of upsets. Still a chance to get back in this thing, I got Little Rock, Stony Brook, and UConn (beating KU) to hopefully get me back in this
  9. Texas Tech and Iona let me down early. Did call Yale though
  10. I think we have better programs, but the league has certainly been down lately
  11. Neal picked up a nice assistant today
  12. It was our worst season in 8 years. You guys were a bit better but you still only finished 1 game ahead of us in the standings, on a large scale that's sorta splitting hairs
  13. Nice win today for the Bows. I hope you guys dance
  14. I don't really see what Air Forces past league tournament performance has to do with anything? Good for Utah State. SDSU still has a terrific team, and uNLv had a bad year
  15. Oh we did come out flat, but losing Stanford isn't some inexplicable loss. Stanford beat Kansas
  16. It doesn't matter we still played a good 10 seed. I will absolutely admit that losing to Harvard was a choke job but Stanford was a good team who if you remember went on to beat a decent Kansas team. Quit acting like we were this giant favorite, sometimes you just lose
  17. You could also say that Delaney not having great players around him played a part in him not having an amazing season this year. I actually remember Noodles saying that you can't put UNM's past tourney struggles on this current team. The team did not fall flat, we lost a 7-10 game
  18. We were also expected to not be a tourney team, and lost 2 key players
  19. I thought he was pretty valuable last year.
  20. We were a little better, but losing to Stanford wasn't the Harvard game. Stanford was a good Pac 12 program, and sometimes when you play a good Pac 12 program you come up on the losing end
  21. You're right. No 7 seed ever loses a 7-10 game
