  1. These were two evenly matched teams and someone had to lose. Sucks we came up short but it is a hell of a place to play. Glad we continue to have this fixture as a conference bout - the Ram/Lobo rivalry is underrated.
  2. How many more seasons will UNLV even give young Kruger? It’s shaping up to be 3/3 years with no postseason, and potentially a consistent slide in the MW standings - 5th in 2021/22, 7th and 2022/23, maybe 9th(?) in 2023/24. Would this kid commit to a coach in the hot seat?
  3. The Rams are very well coached. Medved is a stud. However, I am not looking forward to our game at the Pit on 2/21 (or Viejas the week prior). Hoping we are at full strength come February.
  4. Washington and Toppin look good. While not putting up the same stats as the two UNM frosh, we have two freshman (Mbemba and Kyan Evans) that look like they have bright futures as well. Congrats on the rivalry win tonight and nice crowd at the Pit.
  5. My FCS team is UNH but the Wildcats had a down season and didn’t make the playoffs. Any room on the Vandal bandwagon this year? I’m rooting for you guys to make some noise.
  6. The students all left for Thanksgiving break. We always tend to have lower attendance this weekend. Looks like there's about 18k people here today. Here is the attendance for our other games this year: SDSU 22,033 AFA 22,570 BSU 34,901 UTU 27,932 WSU 31,497 Average: 27,787 (I think we'll finish this year at around 26K).
  7. Bizarre decision. The run game has been relatively unproductive and banged up all year, and we happen to have a freshman stud just sitting there on the bench that we didn’t think to play before today??
  8. Congrats, Pokes. This one appears to be over. You definitely have the superior coach. I wish we had someone like Bohl here in the Fort. Counting down the days until we can get rid of norvell and Parker.
  9. I think Glo has been working with OSU/WSU on some type of merger behind the scenes and it’ll be ready to be announced in an couple months after things are sorted out with the departing PAC schools. I could see all 12 MWC schools joining the PAC14 next fall, but we’ll allow OSU/WSU to receive all of the PAC’s previous NCAA credits and other similar payouts that should go to them.
  10. Yes and no. I am sure that the P6 means SEC, ACC, PAC12, Big12, B1G, and Big East. However, the MW schools should join that group when we’re invited to the PAC12.
  11. Yup. It’s the Eagles and Seahawks for me. They should wear those full time.
  12. Congrats on landing Army. It’s a prestigious school and the geography makes perfect sense. I’ve heard VCU is considering the AAC. Any chance of that happening?
  13. It didn’t end up happening so who really cares either way. The AAC objectively has a lot of quality schools (Tulsa, Tulane, Rice, USF, etc.) and in a different timeline I’d be okay with CSU/AFA in that conference. But in this timeline, the Colorado twins are MWC founders and it looks like we are sticking around to continue to build the only FBS conference primarily located in the western US.
  14. I think there’s also the aspect of “strength in numbers” as well. A smaller best of the rest conference could open a handful of schools up to being in the same boat as OSU/WSU are now. I prefer the idea of the MW dissolving and we all join the PAC12(14) as a unit next summer. Preferably with a new, higher paying contract.
  15. What is Hoke’s buyout? I don’t think the Aztecs can afford to not fire him.
  16. Congrats on bowl eligibility, Rebs. It was a hell of a game.
  17. I wouldn’t mind if this bowl ended after this season. My hope is that the MWC+PAC2 can return to the Vegas or Holiday Bowls (or both).
  18. Aggies coming out of the woodwork to run smack. Would’ve expected that from Poke fans. Either way, I’m appreciative of both USU and BSU as rivals. Logan and Boise are both great spots with good schools. I wish we still had the Mountain Division because it’s the “west” that I don’t like.
  19. I traveled from out of state to see the game tonight and admittedly left before it was over. You can’t blame Ram fans for leaving early with such a big deficit with how awful we’ve been lately. However, there was a tremendous crowd at the start of the game.
  20. Boise is solid. It’s a top superior lifestyle spots in the conference.
  21. Boise should’ve run away with this. I’ve never seen a more incompetent Boise team in the past 20 years. You absolutely need to make a change.
  22. JN is currently a career .500 coach at 38-38, but he’ll likely be under .500 by the end of this season. He is also on the wrong side of 60 and one of the 15 oldest coaches in CFB. I would find it really hard to believe that Norvell can get a higher paying gig at this point. He’ll leave when CSU fires him (most likely scenario) or he retires, but he’s not leaving for a different HC position.
  23. I haven’t seen Parker’s contract but I’m guessing he can be fired without tanking our budget. That’s step #1, because I don’t want Parker anywhere near the next hiring process or new coaching staff. I’d like the new AD to come in and change the culture a bit prior to selecting their coach. Parker should have been canned years ago. Hopefully, his time here is over after this school year. For Norvell, I’m open to seeing what he can do in 2024 - especially if he hires a real OC and OL coach this offseason.
