YUP…that track has got to go.  Uber bush league/high school looking.

With building materials these days, I don’t know how you can do it for less than $250mm.

Ya there’s no way to complete renovations in a single offseason. Much rather build a new stadium and not get into a San Jose or worse Hawaii situation

At least the good news (I'd imagine) is that Hoke is probably gone by the end of this year and yall can start looking. Off the top of my head:

Rolo: Could get him for cheap, lawsuit vs WSU might keep him off the table

Maclntyre: The guy rebuilds programs wherever he goes, he already has FIU looking much better. I mean he did good things with SJSU, imagine what he could do in San Diego.

Eck: Has Idaho in the top 5 of FCS, a dominating win over a MWC school and almost upset CAL in only his second year. Getting Troy Taylor vibes from him.

Vigen: Has done a great job building off of what Choate started at MSU with MWC connections. Also uses/prefers a run centric offense but it actually has some variety and works.

I hope Nevada picks Eck. I can see Rolovich since he's got a history with Nevada already.

Just going by what I've heard on the radio without actually looking at the stats.  The cost of living increase is mostly seen in the housing market and services. My house in parker went from 400k to 800k in 8 years and subsequently the property taxes went from $3,500/year to $7,000 per year. Most new construction homes on the south end of town are starting at 750k with the nicer ones starting at $1 million.

Some on the north end are still in the 500k to 600k range but few and far between.

I just bought a place in Northglenn. 1200 Sqft Town house for 410K. Ya most of the single family homes are in the 500k.

The Pac 2 are already in trouble with football scheduling. Every team in the MW already have their 2024 full and pretty much every other team including the departing members of the Pac 12 have all their non-conference schedule for 2024 filled. Where are the 2 going to get 7 more game each for 2024. That's not even including their Oly sports. Major problems already without a conference and it will snowball from here.

One solution is the 13th game that you can get if you play at Hawaii. I can see a scenario where instead of the 4 Home 4 away conference games for Hawaii, they get 8 home conference games so 8 schools get that extra optional game. Also teams needing to drop a FCS game they got on the books.

Are you sure? I thought the two schools have to be in the same conference, but not that they have to play each other. I could be wrong…

It is, back in the 80s UNLV tried to not play Nevada anymore and Ault got the legislature to pass a law that that they have to play each other every year. We dont have to be in the same conference but we share the same BOR.
