  1. The problem with alternative sources of power is that they cannot produce same volume of electricity in comparable time frames compared to traditional sources of energy like coal and nuclear. They are also prone to supply disruptions. Like it or not , it is very easy to use a coal fired power plant , or a nuclear plant to time the production of energy to when it is needed most.
  2. Solar and WInd have gotten much less expensive , however they cannot produce the same consistency and volume of electricity that say a coal fired plant, or a nuclear plant can create.
  3. I agree with you. We need to all do our part to slow this thing down as much as possible. I agree with social distancing. not traveling, wearing masks, washing hands frequently etc. I also see what is going on around me. I was the only one in my office to not have anybody over for Thanksgiving, or travel to a family gathering.
  4. People are burned out on COVID and are not nearly as willing to lock down as they were back in the spring.
  5. At this point people will just roll their eyes at a stay at home order. People are saying f**k it , I'm just going to live my life. All this would do is make the Governor look like a fool, and Californians hate him. How would you enforce this if a large percentage of the population just ignore the order. You can't arrest everybody
  6. It makes it ten times worse of they go to Newsmax, OAN, or inforwars, lol
  7. Do you think States like Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming , Montana will go along to get rid of the EC. They need some of those . I dint see it happening in my grandchildren’s lifetime. I dint have any grandkids yet lol
  8. We lived in a weird time where we have the process backward. Instead of gathering up facts to determine what is real, people determine their reality and then go get the facts!. In the long run, this is dangerous.
  9. This pact would fall apart quick as soon as the next republican got the popular vote.
  10. There is a lot less opportunity for fraud if there are 50 separate elections, ran by separate state governments.
  11. Its going over the line the shouldn't be crossed. The GOP leadership McConell, Rubio, Graham, etc. McCarthy need to come forward and denounce all of this, and publicly wish DJT well post presidency, and congratulate Biden, and say they look forward to the next four years. Trump has been given time to show there was fraud and he has failed. I have expressed these thoughts in my family as well and now I have family members that won't talk to me. I suspect this is happening in a lot of families. I find it ironic that the president of "law & order" is trying to subvert the law and overturn an election. Also, to be completely fair, the Democrats tried this same bullshit tactic of pressuring electors to go against the will of the voters in their states in 2016. Then they invented a phony scandal based on a phony dossier to try to undo a legal and valid election, and dragged the country through that bullshit for 3 1/2 years. The Democrats are just as dirty as Trump is being right now, I don't like their phony piousness. I am a Republican, I supported Trump, and I liked a lot of what he accomplished. The Republican party really needed someone like Trump at the time. We were a party of stale, stuffy, boring uninspiring, stuffed suits (Jeb Bush, McCain, Romney) that Hillary would have defeated. I believe Trump has left the GOP in a better position to go forward better than what it was in 2016. That can all be thrown out the window if current GOP leadership doesn't grow a spine and take control of this.
  12. It is indeed batshit crazy. He has had two weeks to come forth with evidence of fraud and all we have is Hugo Chavez.
  13. Yeah, but I want to know when he says something more stupid than his previous post
  14. @Blue voodoo I keep thinking you can’t possibly be that much of an idiot, but you keep coming back and proving me wrong again and again.
  15. CBS news reporting in the town I grew up in - Rupert Idaho https://www.cbsnews.com/video/rural-hospitals-ravaged-by-surging-coronavirus-cases/?fbclid=IwAR38Cjj_PFUDEfMfsowNpGjCxzna-AIcSopYa5X334CupxvnYpUBCJvbrMw
  16. I thought he was buried underneath the old stadium in New Jersey that the Jets/Giants used to play in.
  17. If enough members of his cabinet would go along that could happen. Maybe enough of them will get together and say you have to concede or we will invoke the 25th amendment.
  18. Oh yeah, I remember that now. I always wondered is that real, photo shopped, staged??
  19. The GOP made some good progress in this election and are set up well for the next couple of election cycles. That will all be lost, if they don't speak out against this nonsense publicly, and quick.
