  1. Why don't you explain the math to all of us so we can keep this pissing match going...
  2. It all depends whether a bigger collapse or surprise win eclipses this one. You know they are all getting their own double digit page thread. Could you imagine the gnashing of teeth a second loss to Air Force would provide?
  3. I hear you but UNLV is not the kind of program that can just come in and remake itself after one year. Getting to .500 in conference would be pretty good considering how good the league is right now.
  4. UNLV at Wyoming is going to be a big game down the stretch. Winner will most likely lock up the 7 seed while the loser will settle for 8th. Just a few weeks ago, the Rebs were looking at the play in game. I think 7th place would be enough for Kruger to keep his job. This is the best UNLV team in a long time. I could see an NIT bid next year if everything falls just right. Baby steps.
  5. I guess we'll see how it all pans out after OSU and WSU have similar revenue streams to the top third of the Mountain West.
  6. Two more losses plus an early exit in conference would not necessarily push any of the top three out. It all depends on what happens and how soft the bubble is. It would certainly hurt them and put them on the bubble though. Due to changes to the NIT rules, the top two schools not selected from each of the P6 basketball conferences are now guaranteed an NIT bid AND at least one home game, which means they can be seeded no lower than 4 in the NIT bracket. Unless a MWC school is in the "first 4 out", they might not even get a home game at all in the NIT. The new NIT rules suck a greasy bag.
  7. That will probably result in a loss of institutional control charge.
  8. Game 1 was so different. Crazy contact. Few whistles.
  9. Medved learned from the last game. Making a concerted effort getting to the paint-- and it has really paid off so far.
  10. Dude, go back and read all of my comments and show where I said you complained about the refs. Calm down and check yourself. Your temple recommend might be in jeopardy with more posts like that-- and on a Sunday no less...
  11. Homophobia? Really? Slow your roll and calm down
  12. Boise State fan groupthink in basketball? Tell me more about those posts on this board. If you truly believe that Utah State is getting screwed by the refs in basketball as the OP claimed, I'd love to hear your evidence for that.
  13. So no doubts? Are you guaranteeing a Sweet 16 run? That Big Sky talent beat Boise State once. Overall, Leon has had your number.
  14. You have your own board for spouting this groupthink nonsense. Your milking buddies miss you over there....
  15. You've doubted it 15 out of the past 16 appearances. What are you seeing that has changed your mind? It's a great story, but you've still built your team on Big Sky talent. It is what it is...
  16. Wait till tourney time. You'll be shocked and appalled once again.
  17. Was he an actual legend on the football field?
  18. You could certainly argue that Rice had the better GAME but not sure if that made him the best player. Even if tonight was the only time you ever saw them both play. Dent is going to be awesome next year. He'll definitely get serious interest from some high major programs.
  19. House has always been about drawing contact and getting to the line. He's not the guy anymore and might not be getting as many calls.
  20. Hard to believe House used to be New Mexico's best player.
  21. I mean... y'all were on pace for nearly 80 points at the half. I think Boise is significantly adjusting their play style to have a shot at this one.
  22. I'm not sure how much the regular season league title means this year. Probably not much when it comes to seeding, particularly with an uneven schedule. USU could win the regular season and still end up seeded higher than two other MWC schools. Not much different than what happened to Boise a few years back.
  23. CSU definitely plays physical and possibly a little out of control. I've seen some unbelievable non-calls this year in the league. I wasn't trying to troll (much) but it does seem like Nevada needs to get calls and get to the line a lot in order to score. You watch every game. I think this is the second game of theirs that I've seen. So, I'm asking if there's something to that. We all know that doesn't work in the tourney. Wyoming relied on fouls a ton two years ago. Whistles are being swallowed a lot more this year-- until the last 10 minutes of the game.
  24. Can UNR win if they don't get foul calls?
