  1. I've watched the Mandolorian on Disney+ and Bad Batch. The Ahsoka series, I wanted to get into, and one character from Legends that I had hoped to be adapted for this, was once again passed over. This time, for a cloud of smoke. Not really the thread to get into it about, but lets just say, there's potential for that character in current canon, and a large fanbase that wants him in there. But really, I use Disney+ more to watch the classics and renaissance films than anything. I just have not had interest in Marvel since around GotG 2. There are some surprises though, like Sister Act 1 and 2 (among my grandmother's favorite films).
  2. Its fine. I actually prefer watching others play it. I used to be a Saints Row supporter, even for 3 and 4. But, wow. They dropped the ball, and everything else, ever since 4's DLC and even Gat out of Hell. But the recent one that was made, wow. Buggy, glitchy, and the main cast (player character included) all suck. What a waste of money. But, still waiting on Elder Scrolls 6. We've had Skyrim for 12 years. Long enough to not only launch 2 full on Fallout games, but a Fallout Amazon series is in the works, AND IT ACTUALLY LOOKS GOOD!
  3. The only real knock against Teddy, was that he was a full on imperialist. Not an elitist at all, considering that not only did he resign as Secretary of the Navy to fight in the Spanish American War, but encouraged his sons as well. And he personally led his men in battle. Kind of like a mythical leader reborn, so to speak, "leading his men, personally, into battle, and to victory". Him, Lincoln (guy was diplomatic to the South, even though he personally despised slavery, and then made sure to get the right guys in place to win), FDR (a bit of a hot take, but the man did a lot, especially considering he was elected 4 times), and Eisenhower (set the stage to end segregation, warned of the military industrial complex, etc) are the real greats of the last 160 years.
  4. Yeah, this is really one of the more balanced ones they've done. And one of my favorite. Another being Tolkien vs Martin, with the end verses brilliantly using the 3 movie titles of LOTR to smoke Martin.
  5. Pokes going to Arizona? Nice. Pokes playing a MAC team in OOC/Bowl game for the thousandth time? I blame BYU for this. Don't ask me why, they know why.
  6. Be glad DC isn't trying to make the comics from the last few years into films. Its literally been big events in Batman, Superman, and Justice League. And a poor attempt to replace the main faces of the Justice League not long ago as well. But I am interested in the new direction, mainly because Damian Wayne (Batman's biological son) will be the Robin, Red Hood (Jason Todd, second Robin that was voted to be killed, came back with a vengeance) is all but confirmed to be used, if not get his own film, and Jason Mamoa heavily rumored to play Lobo (the character he should have been cast as to begin with). As for Marvel itself, I fell off the bandwagon with Civil War. And even hearing about all these Marvel films, they sound lackluster after Endgame.
  7. Rock bottom would be losing all remaining games after the coaching change. Or the pro-wrestling move that is also known the Book End. Boise ALMOST hit rock bottom prior to the coaching change though. So, Boise fans are almost right.
  8. Fresno finding out just how dumb the Sheep really are.
  9. So long as he isn't OC or the QB coach, I would at least see how he does at MSU.
  10. Off topic, but Ric's daughter has really come into her own as a Women's champion, and basically being the female version of Ric. Alas, it seems there's no female Sting to feud with. But she has done her own incarnation of the 4 Horsemen too.
  11. Lucky. I don't even have a stream to watch said ads. Let alone the game.
  12. Yeah, as an OC, well, we all saw that. But many of us thought he would be better as a HC anyway. So far, that rings true in Montana State. But the real question is how he would do with his own recruits at all the key spots. If he became Bohl's successor in Laramie, and so long as he had someone else call the plays and coach the QBs, I think many would give him a shot, if nothing else.
  13. Socko, unfortunately, didn't help cushion the fall. Okay, now I know where that came from. I just know it better, being a 90s kid, from Scott Steiner as the Steiner Recliner. And while he didn't bring it to wrestling first, he did make it a popular move for future wrestlers, and remains as one of his most iconic moves, Goldberg's Spear.
  14. It's Florida. Who knows what vile and nefarious deeds Florida man would come up with.
