  1. So, the Big XII just distributed of $345 million. $34.5 million per school. If the Remaining 8 agreed to give OU and UT the first $80 million off the top, $40 million each, and evenly split the rest by all ten schools, UT and OU would get $66 million each and the others $26 million each. But isn’t that still better than the Remaining 8 can do under any other scenario?
  2. Short memory I guess, but this whole exchange between the two of us got started because you got your panties in a wad over this statement... “Because we had better success in the SWC than they did while we were there. They don’t want to elevate a competitor in their backyard.” So yeah, it was relative to what you were arguing. Quite frankly I wasn’t even referring to TCU, but TT and Baylor.
  3. You are right! I am done. I’m not sure why it was even being challenged in the first place.
  4. I’m really not sure why you are having to throw a bunch of “yeah but’s” to the facts. Im not trying to argue with you. Everything that I stated was a fact. Our 4 SWC Football Championships And 3 Final Fours While in the SWC shouldn’t count? Our record against UT vs everyone else’s shouldn’t count? I just threw the other sports on their as bonus I’m not quite sure why you are trying to down play our accomplishments while in the SWC
  5. We won more SWC football titles than anyone else not named UT while there. We beat UT more times than them while we were there. We went to 3 Final Fours while we were there. We kicked their asses in Track, Baseball, and Golf. Im not sure what you are laughing at. Go look up how many outright (not shared) SWC football titles Texas Tech has had in their entire SWC and BIG XII memberships. UH had more in the fraction of time they were in the same conference as UT than TT has had in their history.
  6. Because we had better success in the SWC than they did while we were there. They don’t want to elevate a competitor in their backyard. That being said, a lot of that was previously driven by UT. If, UT/OU officially start the process to leave, then I don’t see them continuing that opinion. Nor do I think they will have much choice. The best adds for the BIG XII if OU/UT depart will be BYU, UH, Cincinnati, and either Memphis or UCF. I would rather it be UCF, but they would be on an island. Supposedly, Boise is jockeying to be one of the 4. BYU would likely have some influence there.
  7. Good lord, where do you come up with this stuff? You have now shown that you have no idea what you are taking about twice on this same page, on 2 different subjects. LOL
  8. That was primarily driven by UT. I can’t speak for SMU, but UH has a good relationship with TT, Baylor, and TCU (in that order).
  9. The PAC was never going to expand, as long as UT/OU was a possibility. Now they aren’t, and their peer conferences, whom are already perceived to be superior, are expanding further. I don’t see the PAC staying at 12, and if they aren’t, then they need to act now. The longer TT, OSU, and KSU or TCU are in a weaker conference, then the weaker they themselves become year after year.
