  1. I could see those inbred rednecks in the Southeast forcing a football season no matter what, but the rest of us realize it's just a sport.
  2. not mentioning any names @Did I hear a WOOSH? but someone will conclude that they moved to be close to the beach.
  3. not surprisingly Morgan Scalley will keep his job, but he gets penalized financially. https://www.si.com/college/utah/football/utahs-morgan-scalley-will-stay-as-defensive-coordinator Apart from being retained on staff, there are consequences that have been laid out for Scalley, which ultimately aren't very severe. They are listed below...
  4. AZ had a record number of one day deaths yesterday at 88 and 4900 new cases. Working in an ICU right now would be incredibly difficult. Props to you DIL. https://ktar.com/story/3355397/arizona-reports-record-highs-of-4878-new-coronavirus-cases-88-deaths/
  5. since this broke out I've been healthier than ever (no colds, no flu, no nothing), probably because I have less exposure to people than ever.
  6. Google Orlando to cocoa beach. It's an hour away minimum. It's not 35 miles. Are you incapable of using Google? Its 60 miles from Orlando to the closest beach. 3 MWC schools are closer to the beach than is UCF If you wanted to go to school in Florida and regularly go to the beach, UCF is about the worst school in the state to attend. There are a dozen Florida colleges closer to the ocean.

  8. I've driven from Orlando East to Jupiter Florida, Cocoa Beach. Its 100 miles and that's without stopping for a bucket of chicken and a box of doughnuts. I googled it for you. https://www.google.com/search?q=how+far+is+orlando+from+the+beach&oq=h&aqs=chrome.0.69i59l3j69i57j0j46j0l2.3083j0j8&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
  9. a few MLB players have opted out for the 2020 season, I suspect we'll see more. If you've played enough baseball and have acquired enough money to live comfortably, I'm not sure I'd take the risk?
  10. someone is getting fired, probably a white house chef or the ambassador to Fiji.
  11. that's a gorgeous area, very underrated.
  12. Orlando is 100 miles from the beach San Jose is 30 miles from the beach Hawaii - enough said San Diego - enough said Fresno is 100 miles from the beach (i guess we can call Fresno a beach city just like Orlando)
  13. probably not a great example, since Utah is youngest state by average age (by a large margin) in the nation
  14. great its the frozen in time crowd chiming in again. Its the same clowns who think Fauci should have known exactly where we were are today on March 1, 2020 and are blaming him for not seeing into the future. Its the same jokers who don't give science any credit for finding new ways to fight the disease and reducing deaths ( the drug - remedisivr alone has reduced COVID-19 deaths by 1/3 for those on ventialtors). Come on you aren't that stupid to think that the death rate today should be identical to the death rate two months ago? Is this not a moving target, that evolves daily as we learn more and more about this virus? https://www.bbc.com/news/health-53061281
  15. PAC-12 decision to delay the season or moving it to Spring is gaining traction: https://247sports.com/college/ucla/Article/UCLA-Bruins-Football-Conference-Only-Schedule-and-Spring-Season-On-the-Table-148608687/
  16. I wouldn't be shocked if Texas started busing Covid patients across the border to let Mexico deal with them.
  17. Bob thinks you can just move non-covid ICU patients to the cafeteria and they'll be ok. Let them have free refills on coffee and soda and 10% off the salad bar.
  18. we we're lucky to already have him for 8 years - Obama.
