  1. “Sports related”
  2. Pfffff...Pussies. Tear it all down and replace it with a big box store or you have no balls.
  3. Seems like the Gonzaga thing has lost traction. There does seem to be a lot of interest with the UConn fan base, which is surprising. The idea of being in a conference with another blue blood basketball program is intriguing for many. The Big 12s women’s basketball programs are superior as well, which is a revenue sport for many there too. Also, their other spots are superior to the Big East’s. UConn has a perennial top 25 baseball program, which fits more inline with the Big 12z
  4. Don’t think is was geography, necessarily. They didn’t have a lot on common with the AAC. Plus, their basketball was subpar. The Big 12’s basketball is more their caliper. Plus, the P5 tie in doesn’t hurt.
  5. Been lurking for a bit watching the San Jose State/Fresnek dick measuring contests. I don’t post much anymore. Lol
  6. Looks like UConn is gaining some serious traction for the Big 12 invite. Big 12 representatives were on campus checking it out the last couple of weeks. https://www.si.com/fannation/college/cfb-hq/ncaa-football/college-football-expansion-big-12-rumors-uconn
  7. There in lies the tail of 2 fan bases at UConn. Football and basketball. Although the fan base for basketball is a lot bigger, there are some influential alumni that would love nothing more than all sports to be in the ACC. It’s honestly the best fit, IMO. All of UConn’s biggest rivals are already there.
  8. Or UConn for that matter? I’m pretty confident in saying this - UConn and UMass have no desire to be in the MAC. They’d rather be indi than go that route.
  9. You’re assuming they want to stay Indy forever. They made a tough gamble leaving the AAC, which seems to have paid off for them. Also, Mora has made the goal of getting into the ACC quite clear. One can only assume the UConn AD sold that to Mora when he recruited him there. BC is the school that’s standing in their way. Now wether that happens or not, is debatable.
  10. I’m just responding to your original statement - that they were just giving up. Just because they left a conference where they had nothing in common with any of the schools, you assumed they were giving up. If you follow the program, you know it’s been quite the opposite. They’ve invested pretty heavily in facilities in all sports (football too) and coaching. Your opinion of Jim More not withstanding.
  11. You’re the one making claims here. Not me. They paid him pretty well to go to UConn, so I’d say it debunks the $hit you’ve been spewing from your a$$
  12. They went out and hired Jim Mora. That’s hardly giving up. Mora himself is telling recruits the goal is the ACC.
  13. Loved it. For all the Yankee fans claiming “rent free,” let’s not forget the chant “We want Boston.”
  14. Pearce, Price or Evoldi all could of easily won it. Eovaldi was probably the favorite, up until Pearce just went out and continued to Mash.
