  1. We opened as 1.5 point favorites
  2. Chicken + Waffles! Also, Denver Biscuit Company's chicken biscuit is next level.
  3. I didn't know that. Always assumed Chrono Trigger was Yoshitaka Amano (Final Fantasy).
  4. I was reading an article, and apparently he was also the original designer of the Dragon Quest slime. Pretty iconic.
  5. Bob Moses. Happy I got to see them twice at Red Rocks
  6. Never watched dragon Ball z, buy always been a fan of the older anime. I'm a big fan of Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli. Sad that a big name in the genre passed away.
  7. Not my pics, but my buddy's who lives there and Antarctica half the year. Passed my test, and now the job offerings are coming in. So excited to live in New Zealand.
  8. Heh, I'm over the US and it's bs politics. Ready to put this country 's bs behind me
  9. It is so satisfying knowing this doesn't affect me next fall. @Akkula, just snack on some popcorn as you watch the chaos and reality TV that unfolds this election from a safe distance in another country. That's what we plan on doing.
  10. Finally a white dial, non-limited edition Speedmaster announced!
  11. Ive always seen it as the "stunt double" isn't actually a double. Mixture of acting and physical stunts. Wasn't super into it, but I always enjoyed The Undertaker
  12. I'm just saying trust neither of them. Postpone your opinion for a bit longer and find better sources of information. Too many people feel they need to know immediately, and trust a bad source even if it's better than the immediate alternative one.
  13. Well you definitely shouldn't. That's like me trusting my financial advisor how to do my taxes because he knows a bit more in that area than the layman. Even he admits he knows just enough to be dangerous.
  14. Heh, and that's the problem in this country. We should be distrusting all non-experts equally. My sister is an eye doctor and she knows jack shit about COVID virology and epidemiology.
  15. Heh, look at the odds. 60 Americans were killed last year. Over 30 million visited. So you have a 0.000018% chance of dying in Mexico. You have a 0.00013% chance of being struck by lightning, so approx 100x as likely, lol. Sorry, but you sound like my mom when we visit other countries. I tell her the same, stop reading the rare 'scary' news.
  16. Pic of a cenote we were at last year
  17. Heh, true that... Last time I was there I was happy that my car still had its catalytic converter when I left
  18. Don't live in fear, it holds you back. Dont judge a whole country because of a few incidents. I've been in much more dangerous cities that were absolutely amazing: Bangkok, Manilla, Rio de Janiero, and Yangon to name a few. Planning on going to Monterrey for the world cup. You're more likely to die from a car accident in the US than a cartel shot in 'Mexico'.
  19. One of my favorite cenotes in Tulum from last year:
  20. Mexico is amazing and beautiful. It's the cartels that suck.
  21. I was thinking he needs to work for one of those dying news sites. He's great at the click-bait titles...
  22. Oh my bad. You can tell I'm kinda sensitive and frustrated with the situation. I get so many entitled patients a day who I've never seen, never came to us before demanding their stimulants. It gets tiring sometimes.
