It's the latest political witch hunt. It's easy to target 1.6% of the population with fear from the 98.4% and can win some elections.

It is better for SDSU, but it will still be a G6 conference with a couple high major basketball programs.

I dispute that Wyoming has not invested on that level. They have spent a ton of money on improved facilities, upgraded the stadium, etc. This is the narrative, but it is not a fact.

It's the same 10000 football fans they've had for decades. Even 10 years of great football didn't convert many, if any, to attend when the team is down. There are now far more basketball fans (for obvious reasons).

Wyo looked pretty good in 3 of the 4 quarters. Get those mistakes cleaned up and who knows?

It was a great weekend in Laramie. Although almost no SDSU fan agrees with me, the Wyoming fans are far more passionate and supportive than SDSU fans.

The only was you could construe that is when the Skyline (and Border) Conference collapsed and the Western Athletic Conference was formed in 1962-63. Wyoming and Utah State were co-champions that last 2 years of the Skyline. My understanding is that Utah and BYU didn't want USU included, but I have no direct knowledge as I was born in 1963 :-P

According to this, AFA is the largest. Note that AFA, USU, and Wyoming all have larger TV Audiences than SDSU. Hawaii is next.
