  1. There’s an extensive time-line of relevant events in this Yahoo story by Roger Parloff: https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/rudy-giuliani-sidney-powell-fox-news-sued-by-dominion-smartmatic-102628439.html Quite thorough reporting (= long read, but well worth it). I think “Doody” Rudy and the Kraken’s respective gooses are pretty well cooked, but only time will tell...
  2. I would basically echo all of this. Played in High School myself. Was a pretty good shooter (actually, better from further out, but I missed the adoption of the 3 point line by a few years), but playing as a guard, I was somewhat deficient in ball handling (especially relative to all the super quick players nowadays who, IMO, also happen to all “palm” the ball relentlessly- something that was actually enforced back in the day)... Even tho’ guys like Dame and Steph are “only” 6’2” and 6’3”, respectively, that’s probably still taller than most here (I’m 5’11” and change). A guy like him w
  3. For those who don’t want to click the link, here are some of the gems: ”You don’t need to look like a butch either” ”divorce weight” ”lust monster” ”we can’t help ourselves” ”wife no longer has rights over her body” Good gawd, Fat Boy Pastor Guy, you need DECADES of counseling...
  4. Look who just took a DNA test... Also, not surprising that a Republican dissed Africans, who have recently been proven to actually have Neanderthal DNA. It was long thought that was not the case, but a recent study published in January 2020 suggests that an unexpectedly large amount of Neanderthal ancestry exists in modern populations across Africa...
  5. To answer the Topic question, “No.” The Trumplican Party still has MTG lurking around, after all. And Ron Johnson. And Josh Hawley. And Ted Cruz. And Lindsey Graham. And so on...
  6. And solid state batteries, if perfected (on a large scale), can charge pretty fast. I do agree that the charging station “queue” could be a tough nut to crack. Having a station and enough chargers is one thing, but given the cars must be plugged and the wait is still, what, 500%+ longer than what it takes to pump a tank of gas, well, it seems like the “process” could create any number of unwanted bottlenecks (not the least of which is the added inconvenience - and danger - of cars waiting in the street, etc.). If nothing else, this sort of “barrier” to EV ownership may change behavior (drivi
  7. Angry for what the Richard-Head has done to divide the country? Yeah. Contrary to what you might think, I don’t think the U.S. President is elected to govern only those that pledge to forevermore suck at his teat. The Twice Impeached Orange Shit Stain has proven that is his M.O. - over and over... and over again. And he’s still openly lying now about the election, etc. - long after his (decisive) election defeat... Does it “anger” me that he does that? And that so many Americans still believe his nonsensical rhetoric? Yeah... although “bother” might be a better choice of words he
  8. Angry... because I call our former President a name? Something he’s done publicly himself, what, thousands of times? And with impunity? On a world stage??? LOL, I think you misrepresent me as being “angry” here. Well, I admit that I am angry about what a corrupt, pathologically lying Richard-head he was and absolutely still is, but when it comes to name calling he’s just getting from me here what he habitually dishes out himself. He doesn’t get a free pass on a lot of things, the least of which is his adolescent name calling...
  9. And? If the Twice Impeached Orange Shit Stain didn't want it there it wouldn't be there. If you think otherwise, you're not dealing in reality (a familiar concept with Cult 45)...
  10. Bad optics here. Give them all the tests that Twice Impeached Orange Shit Stain Man’s WH team never bothered to use. That should last the press at least the rest of the year...
  11. The Fat Twice Impeached Orange Bastard is obsessed with gold. The pathological liar has zero taste - except maybe for extra large steaks, double scoops of ice cream and bottomless Diet Coke’s. No great surprise there...
  12. Compared to Doody Rudy, Cuomo’s fall is like hopping off a the apex of a swing (whereas Rudy’s is like falling out of a roller coaster during a cork-screw maneuver), but the damage nonetheless appears to be done...
  13. With any luck, Twice Impeached Orange Shit Stain Man will be decked out in similarly colored prison duds...
  14. He may simply have been driving too fast. Or maybe the combo of that with being drowsy from a “normal” dose of his meds (back surgery) was the culprit. I imagine we’ll find out soon enough. There’s just too much interest in him to not have this come out. He’s very lucky to be alive. At this point in his life, and when the time is right, he should be mature enough to admit what happened...
  15. Doctor on CNN is really good. Describing why and what Tiger probably went through at the trauma center. Bottom line is that he said that their thought process would have been that they thought his injuries were serious enough that they needed to get him into surgery immediately. With compound fractures, the risk of lasting vascular or nerve damage to his legs would’ve been very real, hence, the surgery would have been done so as to try and prevent that from occurring...
  16. He’s an amazing athlete who has proven able to recover and find his way back numerous times before, so I’m not altogether sure of that. That said, in another decade he’ll probably feel like he’s 80. Probably more so if he has some sort of chronic dependency on pain drugs that, ultimately, proves disruptive to the rest of his life. Assuming he has to soon shed himself of that (those), thereby truly limiting his body being able to cope and/or recover from the rigors of the PGA Tour - indeed, even the Senior Tour, well, that will be the final analysis...
  17. Most recent ESPN article indicates that, “Based on video footage and photos, it appears that Woods hit a curb and took out a rolling hills sign. Luggage could be seen out of the vehicle.”
  18. Yeah, if he did that again, well, it’s open season on him. Probably an addict that needs help...
  19. Yes. Even when Nantz was saying goodbye (ending the interview) with some flattery, Tiger really didn’t acknowledge him. He definitely did seem “out of it”...
  20. Interesting. From my perspective, I thought he looked terrible when Jim Nantz interviewed him before the tourney ended...
  21. Yeah, I do understand that. However, given that virtually everyone in a similar case (post surgery) would probably do same (not think twice about driving after taking what is considered a “normal” dosage of pain meds), I wouldn’t think he’d be universally condemned for that particular action. But that’s just speculation...
  22. Agree. We’ll know soon enough, but even in him taking a “normal” dose of pain meds I can see him (possibly) just falling asleep at the wheel. Or maybe swerving to avoid a deer, etc. Whatever the case, you just gotta hope he comes out of this latest incident okay...
  23. Yeah, he recently had a 5th back surgery. Stated he was trying to get back for the 2021 Masters, which was certainly questionable, but that was nonetheless his stated goal. Clearly, that’s now out of the question, but you just wish for his return to health - both for hims sake and as a father of young kids. They have to be really scared right now, which is a terrible thing for any child to have to endure...
  24. Let’s hope this is a Ben Hogan type of situation and that he’s able to recover. Hogan fractured his collarbone, pelvis, ankle and rib in his “infamous” accident with being hit head on by a Greyhound bus back in the Texas fog on an icy road back in 1949...
