  1. From Friday. Judge Chutkin’s ruling on the TIFTIOSS’s immunity appeal… https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.dcd.258149/gov.uscourts.dcd.258149.171.0.pdf
  2. You’re just jealous because you don’t know what a Chanticleer is (um… like the rest of us)…
  3. The Spartans led by 8 at the half and probably should have been more. Didn’t shoot or defend well in the 2nd half, but credit to Poly for shooting a lot better. In a can-you-believe-it stat, Tre Anderson fouled out, yet he didn’t miss a single shot last night (5 for 5 for 13 points). Three other Spartans were a combined 1 for 13 on 3PA’s. Not good… And we are just lost down low. With Rob Vaihola out, our Center play has pretty much been abominable. The Wazzu transfer looks like he should be better (on height alone), but to this point he’s merely been a fouling machine. He fouled out again last night, this time with only 2 points and 3 rebounds in around 15 minutes of play (in his defense I will say no one is looking to pass to him on the pick and roll). At this point, calling him a “project ” is being generous… KenPom dropped us about 15 spots (to 132). I expected it to be worse, but at this point will take it and (gladly) move on…
  4. Details. Lots to chew on here... https://sports.yahoo.com/sources-oregon-state-washington-state-finalizing-scheduling-alliance-with-mountain-west-conference-180632163.html Some snippets... The remaining two members of the Pac-12 and the Mountain West are finalizing the long-talked about partnership with an announcement planned in the coming days. The agreement, for now just one season, is expected to include a fee of about $14 million paid to the Mountain West. The alliance is built around what’s termed a “7+1” format where Mountain West teams play seven conference games — not eight — plus one game against either Washington State or Oregon State. There is an option to extend the deal to the 2025 season as well. As for broadcasting rights, Mountain West home games against OSU and WSU will be televised in regular fashion by MWC TV partners Fox and CBS Sports Network. The league will keep the additional media rights revenue from those games to be distributed across the conference. Oregon State and Washington State are likely to negotiate separate broadcasting agreements with those networks and potentially others to televise their own home games. The Pac-12’s TV deal with ESPN and Fox ends after this academic year. For now, the scheduling alliance is football only. The two entities continue to explore a similar scheduling agreement for men’s and women’s basketball, though an agreement is likely weeks away. Oregon State and Washington State are in discussions with other leagues to create affiliate memberships for their other sports.
  5. Just wondering when the MWC Board Brass here will get their cease and desist letter from the TIFTIOSS in regards to the “rigged” voting by the Harding supporters here. Let the violent rhetoric against these folks begin… because it’s a 1st Amendment thing and all, don’t you know…
  6. The Spartans play on the Road Wednesday (Cal Poly SLO) and Saturday (Montana) themselves, while NDSU has no games themselves, so advantage Bison there... but we'll see...
  7. Because he'll foul? No points, no rebounds and 5 fouls in 5 minutes played is a pretty sad stat-line...
  8. This Spartan team really misses Rob Vaihola. The 7'0" Diongue kid (Wazzou transfer) is just awful. He's played 4 minutes tonight, has 0 points, 0 rebounds, 1 turnover.. and 4 fouls... [edit: he plays another 30 seconds.. and promptly fouls out...]
  9. There's aggressive... and then there's reckless. We do cross that line a bit too much for my liking...

  12. Am a Boise fan this weekend. That said, let’s make this the first of two for SJSU vs. UNLV in successive weeks…
  13. This game result has to be one of the more remarkable scores college football has seen - ever. Just the win alone blows the mind, but by 3 TD's? Holy cow. And the Tigers just got punked in terms their rushing game (26 rushes for only 65 yards). After decade upon decade of futility (ineptitude, losing... you name it), this isn't your daddy's NMSU program...
  14. Is there a year-end "Turd of the Week" tally? When the time comes, would be interesting to see that...
  15. Colorado Judge rejects 14th Amendment lawsuit to keep the TIFTIOSS off the 2024 ballot. Cites her opinion that "officers of the United States" does not include the President of the United States...

  17. Sounds like someone needs to “accidentally” pop McBarfy with an elbow to his schnoz in the hallways of Congress between legislative sessions . Keep his naughty behavior in check a bit more. I nominate Fetterman…
