The title of this thread is the GOP has lost it. Considering that Lindell was certain God put Trump in the White House, since Trump will no longer be in the WH on January 20, to use Lindell's logic, what the GOP lost must be God's support. Btw, does he use a My Pillow for a barf bag when his plane hits turbulence?

I might disagree with some of their politics and actions (if the opposite of a "no-brainer" is a "brainer," choosing Palin was that) but both were/are indeed great men. -

I was going to give you a thumbs up but your second sentence isn't at all for certain. However much some here may hate Sanders, he was running neck and neck with Hillary for much of the primary and I think could have won the nomination. I voted for him in the primary as a means of kicking Hillary in the nuts (she has a pair, you know). -

After being a lifelong Democrat, I re-registered independent after Trump was elected out of disgust with the way the DNC manipulated its primary to allow Hillary to win it without which Trump would never have won in 2016. I still can't stand to see effing Donna Brazil on FoxNews. Because Brazil is still on the scene and because the other bimbo, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, is still in Congress I'm going to remain an independent even though Trump is finally being pushed out the door. -

He and Nunes are a disgrace to California's Central Valley. Both are vastly different from my mother's family in Idaho in being more akin to rich agribusiness interests than the small farm Mom grew up on. -

I didn't say I think all Trumpists are stupid and I'm sure many are highly intelligent. However, as the Trump administration has progressed, I've seen less and less evidence of them at rallies with a growing percentage of the crowd rocking QAnon gear and racist shit. -

One thing that can be done - no, must be done - is to guard against being complicit in such anti-social behavior. As an L.A. Times columnist well put it today, FoxNews has failed to abide by that admonition for at least the last five years. Donald Trump has been Fox's cash cow creating hundreds of millions of dollars in ad revenue from the "folks" to whom you refer as they watched Fox religiously defend the guy. That said, I don't want to over-generalize here. I've come to think that over the last couple years Bret Baier and Mike Wallace have probably become the most objective reporters on any of the cable news networks. They're the antithesis of ratings whores like Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham. -

“What I think is most notable for a Conservative audience is that the most militant Trump supporters have turned against more mainstream Conservatives including but not limited to, Vice President Pence, Chief Justice Roberts, lawmakers who did not raise objections and law enforcement,” Levin added.”This is a troubling sign of a new insurgency, somewhat similar to the rise of the violent hard left in early 70s which also bombed the Capitol.” From the time of Watergate, there were lunatic fringe groups like the Weather Underground and the Symbionese Liberation Army which decided that people who merely voted leftist weren’t doing what was necessary to change America and so for several years engaged in coordinated armed insurrection against society. If past is predicate, Levin is correct that we’re now going to see that type of coordinated violence from lunatics on the far right. -

I hope he does pardon himself. The proposition that the founding fathers wrote the Constitution in such a way as to allow that is so ridiculous that if Mr. Grumpy is actually so deranged as to do it - and he probably now is - it would lead to an amendment to make it GD clear that just because you're the president doesn't mean you're above the law. -

After insisting on making his little speech despite all the violence the other day, Hawley has made himself living proof of my wife's mantra that some people have a ton of brains but not an ounce of common sense. Phuck him and the horse he rode in on. -

I'm no fan of Graham but he's 100% correct here. Had a terrorist organization been savvy enough to anticipate the mess which occurred yesterday (thankfully most are as smart as box of rocks), another 9/11 might have occurred. -

Maybe Jeb was harmless but then again, he may have been as dense as Dubya. I might have voted for Little Marco but after how he dropped his knickers for Trump the last our years that would have been a yuge mistake. Fiorina? I barely remember her but didn't every single solitary male Republican who also ran fail to defend her when Trump called her dog face or something like that? Kasich was the one. He would have defeated Hillary and saved our country four years of disgrace. But no, most Republicans were as drawn to Trump as flies are to dog shit. -
