  2. The only thing you have on me is my statement about Representative Omar, and calling that a racist statement is at best stretching the definition. Hold on to that one all you like, but in the meantime why don’t you produce anything else I’ve said on this board since 2005 that is racist.
  3. I think I’ve played that game...
  4. I kinda like the battle hawks. Mostly because I have no idea what a battle hawk is.
  5. No 9 am games for the P12 this year, but its still an option in 2020 and beyond.
  6. As a white male, do you believe you are the most discriminated group in America, and you are merely trying to fight against your oppressors? Join the Proud Boys, the extreme right version of Antifa!

  12. Speaking for myself, I want to keep the electoral college point system as it balances power between densely and sparsely populated states.. That said, I also want the points to go to the popular vote winner of each state. I fear that in today's political climate, there are too many things that can go wrong, including corruption, by allowing each electoral voter to do whatever they please. I think there would be room and 2/3 consensus to amend the constitution for making the popular vote of each state carry all the points. Tyrants could still arise even under the current system. I also believe a better way to prevent tyranny is a robust system of checks and balances that makes it very difficult to pass or remove laws and separation of powers between equal branches of government. But this is just my opinion.
  13. This again? There is nothing in the Constitution that says an elector has to vote for the popular vote getter. A faithless elector is supposed to be some kind of safeguard against a tyrant. It has been our tradition, however, for the electors to follow the popular vote.
  14. Sage advice... especially if you are going to visit lolfaz's mom on your way through CO...

  17. ABC has set the rules for the third debate... https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/abc-news-announces-details-democratic-primary-debate/story?id=65077321 So if one more candidate qualifies, which would likely be Steyer, then the debate will be split across two nights with smaller groups.

  23. Idolization and worship of politicians is mind baffling strange but it’s nothing new. It wasn’t that long ago Newsweek’s editor claimed that Obama was a god. Whether it be this Wayne Allyn Root nutter or anyone else, placing a scumbag politician at the level of a king or a god is sick and demented. And @retrofade is right by comparing that sort of shit to cultism.
