  1. That was always the better choice and he’d be a clear number 2. The current expected backup was a depth addition for USC and former UNM commit from JUCO. Riley might be desperate for another qb but he’s clear on passing on guys in it for the NIL bag.
  2. Choate not happy getting passed over by Boise twice.
  3. I also got better deals on Chrono24 than dealers that didn’t have a lot of inventory.
  4. As you know, your preferences change week to week. Most of my wrist time goes to my Seamaster and my orange dial Seiko GMT. I started wearing my Maurice Lacroix chronograph again. Instead of Tudor’s, one got a Nomos and the other a Longines blue moon dial.
  5. I bought new with manufacturer warranty but no issues with the watches so hopefully I won’t need to find out if there issues.
  6. I bought my Omega and Nomos through them. No issues and you can track your watches market value on it.
  7. I think NIL is solid for a mid major. Jazz was fishing for a large NIL deal before he signed and couldn’t get his number. He had several deals as a high schooler. I trust Alford though, he seems to pull donors from thin air.
  8. Hopefully Alford has the NIL donors lined up so they can keep them.
  9. Been to both and I don't know anyone that prefers it to Lawlor.
  10. Matt Entz from NDSU. The Dakotas produce outstanding football coaches and recruit to the worst weather in the country.
  11. Practice pattern’s definitely have changed from both a cultural and legislative influence. Newer docs want work life balance and a paycheck while older docs like me can’t afford the ever increasing practice and liability insurance expenses. Private practice was waning anyway and the ACA pretty much gave it its death Nell. Employment by hospitals and insurance networks is pretty much the model for most specialties now resulting in concentration of new doctors in metro areas. I’m going down that road myself. Semi rural areas like yours and mine will have difficulty attracting new docs or replacing retiring docs. So yeah it’s intermeshed in multiple ways not the least of which is avoidance of hassles like nebulous anti abortion laws. I’m leaving my town to move back to Reno after 29 years and I’m actually feeling a little guilty that my leaving may start a cascade of obstetricians leaving the area as the call requirements increase, leaving another New Mexico town with limited access to women’s health care. On a brighter note, I understand that NM is considered a Mecca for transgender transplants from unfriendly states. It just might take a while to get in to a doctor for the hormone prescription.
  12. The Perinatologists do that but once in the hospital, at least in community hospitals, the hospitalists/laborist do the procedures. There generally aren't enough of the MFM guys to do all of the hospital stuff. At university/training hospitals, the perinates will supervise fellows or residents in house. Our hospital has an MFM hold a 2 day clinic every 2 weeks. I actually did my ob rotation down at UMC in med school. I'm sure it's way different now.
  13. I don't know if there would be problems with getting medical liability insurance other than the usual increasing cost. Malpractice liability insurance wouldn't cover unlawful acts from the abortion ban anyway. Perinatal services can often be done with telemedicine as they generally are a consultative service and the generalist Obs do the actual procedures. But you guys are generally right about it not being an attractive location for new doctors. Not so much about the elective abortion ban but the situations when it's not elective such as early miscarriages where there is a fetus and heavy bleeding which is very common. Some crazy politician could conceivably try to get them charged criminally. No doctor wants to be involved with that.
  14. Nice! It’s not easy taking good watch photos.
  15. Over the past 10 years, McClure has led the recruiting effort which has resulted in Bruin classes being ranked among the nation's top 20 in each year. In 2013-14, he was named among the Top 25 Recruiters in College Football by Rivals. BERKELEY – Cal head coach Justin Wilcox announced Friday that Angus McClure has agreed to become the Golden Bears' offensive line coach. McClure is considered one of the elite recruiters in college football and has 28 seasons of coaching experience, including 24 in the collegiate ranks at UCLA, Nebraska, Nevada, Buffalo and Sacramento State.
