Whats ironic I and many other die hard Wyo fans thought we were finally going to get something going this year. I was and maybe still am ticked at what we have left for a shell of the conference we had two years ago. If our program can't do better we deserve the future we are headed for. I see myself not attending many more games in the future. Rivals are dwindling and we can't compete and I really can't get excited about driving to Laramie to watch teams that we pulled in just to make a conference, and no TV, well thats another story. I am sick of the BS we continue to contend with as a long time fan of the Pokes. No reason to hope week in and week out that we are going to be as good as I remember we were in the Roach days. My season tickets may be available for 2013. Maybe a win will cure my bad attitude or friday night with the mates at the watering hole. Just venting.
I fully understand the feeling. I had higher expectations for Wyo this year because of what I saw Smith do. Unfortunate to lose him, still, I wish you good luck at Idaho, Pokes!

they should have been on it. 4 of the worst teams reside here in the MWC. BYU schedule is much better outside of the MWC. We play 6 teams better than BSU next best opponent left. Our worst team is equal to the 4 worst in the MWC. Our 2nd worst team whould finish middle of the Pack in MWC. 3rd worst team left will finish 2nd in MWC.

ESPN has UNLV, Wyoming, and Colorado as 3 of the 10 worst college football teams in Division 1 Football. Wyoming fans are po'd after what happened Saturday. After the previous loss in Laramie to Toledo, a good team, I thought Wyoming would roll Entitlement State. Really getting sick of the roller coaster and wondering where all "DC's" recruits are. Without Smith the Pokes are nothing.

Don't be overly concerned.....there are lots of teams that would fall apart without their best player and leader. What would happen to the Packers if Rodgers got hurt? Look at what happened to the Colts when Peyton was out all season. How far would that Auburn team have fallen without Cam. Brett is the heart and soul of this team. His loss is felt on both sides of the ball.

New Mexico was left off the list because of their 40 point win over Nichols State and the fact that Texas and Texas Tech didn't score more points on them. When your expectations are set so low it's easy to be impressed.

It's the Bob Davie effect / ESPN bias.

I agree that getting rid of Locksley got rid of a lot of bad ju-ju for you guys. The Maryland Terrapins will continue to stay in the toilet as long as he is there. Overall I think Davie will help get the program turned around but he definitely is winning some early PR battles for you guys.
