That's weird, considering that Idaho only scored 33 total points that year and won the game by 20 points. I don't believe half of the urban legends that come out of Boise and I would bet that there is more to this story than you are telling (or that even know), much like the story of the Vandal player who got in Pokey's face.....only it turned out it was an ISU player. Pokey was coaching football.....and he won several games that year by large margins. It comes with the territory.

You forgot the part about where evil mad scientists from the U of I snuck into the Boise State training center and poured polonium into Pokey's coffee. Word has it Boise had to start using blue turf because they couldn't see the green-glowing Pokey on the field with the normal rug color.
