I don't know if I'll be able to see the game this weekend as I'll be out of town on business and it's on NBC Sports network.

Anyone have pics of how the sidelines will look? Just the drab gray? Conference logos painted on it?

Any info would be appreciated!

I've heard so many different things about that. Does anyone know if they have ever determined that it can even be done, and if so, that it is officially on the long term plan?

It would help tremendously. Especially on those lower level sight lines and overall in-game experience.

I've only seen a little bit on message boards about it. I do know that it was a part of the original expansion plans that have obviously been scrapped.

Yeah, I've seen that picture - it looks like some kind of covering over whatever lies beneath. Hence my question that started this thread.

I'm thinking they may be hiding things for a reveal on Saturday. But don't know for sure.

I'm guessing that's just the mat for the team to stand on, so they aren't standing on concrete. Notice how it's the same length as the team area markings on the field.

This isn't a troll response. I honestly think it looked better with the track, instead of the paint, which makes it look like a concrete void. With all the concrete look, it seems BSU stadium is going for the Oakland Coliseum look.

I agree. Looked way better with the track, it matched the school colors better. Orange and Blue. It would have looked WAY better if they just extended the turf over the track instead of it just being gray.

Don't know, but there is one seat reserved for me on the 20th. I hope the stadium looks better in person that the above photo. I have not been to a stadium that ugly since attending my highschool games. Go Vallejo Apaches!

Doesn't make any sense for them to paint conference logos on it for one season. That and I wouldn't want to see another lame N64 style MW logo anywhere in Bronco Stadium. Why on earth they changed the old Mtn West logo to the new one is beyond me. The old one looked much better.

Honestly looking at that picture..............if they can somehow drop the field............looks like they can add 8-9 rows of premium seating. If they do that, I would highly suggest they put in chairback seatings w/cupholders for the new rows and they should bump up those prices way up. BSU should make out some hefty change when all is said and done.
