Thank you for taking Dan Hawkins as well. I hope UC - Boulder never wins another game ever. It's hoping to much I know. It's not an exaggeration to say SDSU has been dominating CU in recruiting over the last year and a half. If I was a Buffalo, I'd be irate.
Muchas gracias to CU for taking Mike Bohn off our hands as well.

That's because you guys hired an alum who had no business being a head coach. Your new coach is the real deal and I hope you hang half a hundred on UC - Boulder. And we still can't beat them on a regular basis. CSU had a golden opportunity to change the entire dynamic of this series and college football in the Rocky Mountain region and +++++ed it up.

If by improved, you mean they managed to beat Utah in the season finale, that's not saying much. Pretty sure Whittingham took the team to Wendover the night before on an all-night bender. Both programs are lucky the Pac-12 didn't rescind their membership after that pathetic excuse for a college football game. It's not so much that CU won, as much as they somehow had more pixels illuminated in the section of the scoreboard displaying their score than Utah did after 60 minutes of "play."Not so sure. It appears that the Buffs improved toward the end of last season.

We had a Colorado troll on the Bark Board a while back. Wonder where he ran off to....

I was at last year's CU CSU game and you rammies totally could have won that game. It seemed as if CSU played a little nervous and was afraid to make mistakes. Too conservative gameplan as well. Go get those buffs this year CSU!!

Luckily, it looks like UCB just made the same mistake. Their coach is definitely isn't the answer.

With the way CU and to an extent CSU's program are right now, Wyoming is reaping benefits from it on the recruiting trail. Wyoming is on a definite upswing and Colorado recruits are already showing that fact. Not only does CU suck right now but they seem to spend all of their recruiting efforts in California and very little in Colorado. With the State of their program currently, shouldn't they be focusing on landing the best possible Colorado talent even if not elite? At least those kids will give their all to the program and be a good solid base for a possible resurgance.
Not the CU way. I agree, they are missing out. OTOH, they did offer some top in state recruits that have pledged to CSU, so it's not like they're not really trying.

They are VERY lucky to be in the PAC 12 (really they were lucky to be in the Big Xll). I read that the only reason the PAC 12 even invited them was to furthur weaken the Big Xll to try to lure Texas & the others.

It'll be interesting to see how long Embree survives there, because I don't think they will turn the corner anytime soon. I thought it was an interesting hire to begin with.

I don't think Texass would have moved to the PAC just because of cu... OK, OSU, aTm where the ones that needed to go. When that didn't happen, cu and utah jumped on the opportunity and hoped the big 4 would follow. So now the PAC has a doormat named cu. It'll be a long time before cu will even get to sniff the top of the PAC...even then it will be a fluke.
Yes, I agree with you...cu is VERY lucky to be in the PAC. I talk to a lot of cu alums and shake their head because of the move to the PAC.

I'm not so sure CU's administration wouldn't be above trying get away with just dissolving their athletic department, competing with intramural champs and pocketing all the Pac-12 TV money.Bohn is just terrible.Terrible. But that school is one decent AD away from having a great program. They've won before, then can do so again. Wazzu was there or worse just a couple years ago, and now they've got a remodeled stadium and excited new coach with tons of upside.

The PAC12 invited them because of their excellent weed. The league lacked a good high altitude strain.
Seriously, they couldn't get anything out of Texas, so they went after the Denver market. Since CSU wasn't an option, and AFA has standards, they took the buffs.

I don't entirely disagree with you.....it was the flatest game I've seen since pre-McBride. Absolutely pathetic. (The cal game was a close second). If by improved, you mean they managed to beat Utah in the season finale, that's not saying much. Funny though, they get a road win and chirp about how superior their athletes are....yet the teams we did play against and won were flukes vs their one road win.
Nothing to really say here.....except GO MWC!!

Northwestern is a highly regarded academic school, while CU is full of hippies.Hopefully CU gets fat and happy getting their large paychecks and becomes happy being a "Northwestern." Nothing could be better for CSU in the state if we have a strong commitment to excellence while CU becomes content getting their Pac12 paycheck.

The PAC grabbed CU as a means to break up the big 12 and went Texas and OK didn't move they had to round out and take Utah. CU doesn't even carry the denver market for the PAC. I saw the ratings numbers and they were terrible.

not to mention Cody Hawkins. He was terribleThank you for taking Dan Hawkins as well. I hope UC - Boulder never wins another game ever. It's hoping to much I know.
In my lifetime, the Bulldogs have been to 19 bowl games. They are 9 and 10 with wins agains the likes of USC, Georgia Tech (twice), University of Virginia, and UCLA.
During the same timeframe the Aztecs have been to 6 bowl games. They are 1-5 they have losses to such powerhouses as Tulsa, Navy and....wait for it....University of Lousiana LaFayette Ragin Cajuns

Never liked the buffs....here's to going winless! http://www.cigarafic...ow/id/16642/p/2
What was the scoreboard like when Wyoming last visited Boulder to play a Dan Hawkins-coached Buffs squad?
