In order to begin the Re-build of High credibility that the MWC had formerly built, each of our teams need to strive mightily to Win all of our OOC games.

Please predict the "probable" from an objective perspective & then "best case" OOC W's for your team in 2012, + any explanations you can offer.

CSU = 2 & 4 CU, ND St (#1 in D1AA), SJSU, USU.
We'll see how good a Coach JMac is pretty quickly... he inherited alot of Fine players who have alot of Experience & some depth (finally). The D has 1 gapping hole to fill, the rest is solid. If this team stays healthy (unlike '11 & '09 when 8 Starters were lost serious injury), it could get 7 W's in '12.

Your turn...

Nevada has @ Cal, USF, Northwestern St, @ Texas State. Probable would be 2-2 with the USF game as a swing game maybe getting us 3-1. I'm thinking we'll lose to Cal since we struggle out of the gate every year, especially with the BCS teams.

We have Weber State, @Oregon, Colorado, @Tulsa. Most likely is 2-2, Tulsa being a swing game for 3-1.

Probable- Loss to Washington- Wins vs Army, North Dakota, San Jose State and Fresburg (oh forgot they are in the mWC now).

Best Case- Drill UWashington and all others.

SJSU has Stanford, UC Davis, Colorado State, San Diego State and Navy.
Most likely 1-1 with 3 swingers.
CSU @ home but SDSU and Navy away, so they could start out anywhere between 2-3, 3-2 or 4-1.
They've got a couple of key player injuries and had a real shot at 4-1.
Now I'm thinking 3-2 depending on how fast the O-line can gel..

UNM probably beats Southern and Texas St. The tossup game is NMSU. Sure losses are Texas and Texas Tech.

Best case we win 3 with the NMSU game thrown in there.

Probable to me is 3-1. Nevada will work USF at Mackay (and they'll return the favor in Florida.)

Beating Cal on the road seems unlikely.

Wyo is
@ Texas
vs. Toledo
vs. Cal Poly
@ Idaho

Realistically, that's 3-1. Best case is 4-0 obviously...but even I don't think we'll beat Texass. Toledo is tough but it's in Laramie, and Cal Poly is a middling FCS team (have had some good years, though). Idaho is pretty bad and we should win there unless we go all CSU on our trip to the Half-Azztrodome up there.

Anything less than 3-1 would be a huge disappointment.

3-1 likely; 4-0 triggers the zombie apocalypse. Anything worse and research should start as to why Dave Christensen teams suck in even-numbered years.

3-1 or bust. Washington will be tough, but as far as road BCS games should be more winnable than the @Michigans and @Missouris of recent seasons. Army is a quality opponent that could give us some trouble on the ground, but they lack quality depth and should be able to be had defensively. North Dakota should be a 20 pt win. San Jose State scares me most as they are pretty good looking young team. I think the Spartans would be totally capable of coming in and winning that game though should we put up a performance characterized by turnovers, poor execution, and blown opportunities reminiscent of the Louisiana and Wyoming losses last year. More likely that not though I feel we'll be ok and win by 10-14 points.

UNLV's top 2 OOC games aren't against "big time" BCS/Power conference programs, and these two games are baically the bottom of the MWC vs the bottom of the PAC12/Big10...........so UNLV wins wouldn't make anyone take notice, but for a struggling UNLV program trying to right the ship, a W over either would be a great thing.

@ Oregon: 15%
vs. Colorado: 75%
@ Tulsa: 60%

Has Texas found a QB yet? I know they've been having issues with that postion for a couple years now.

I posted this on a different thread, but from all I've read, David Ash will start, he had 1080 yards, 4 TDs and 8 INTs last year...

Alive or undead, they all count the same coming through the turnstyles at the War.

Unless your are SDSU, then they only count if they bought tickets before the game! Zing!

If you have Colorado at home, I see a real potential for a win there.

Yeah, I was counting that as one of the 2 wins.
