Silver and Blue outfitters just posted a picture of the MW logo at Mackay Stadium and it's Silver and Blue. I guess that answers the questions people had about the logo colors on the field.

Looks decent at Bulldog Stadium IMO. They probably had those on order from last year and were too broke to change it up or something. Either way, it would probably look cooler red and white or red and blue, but it doesn't look too bad there IMO.

All the computer images of the new turf at UNM show the MW logo in cherry and silver.

I think the color regulations have been lifted. Colorado State's new unis have the green and gold. The media day guides I have seen also have the logo in team colors. It's good for the new teams (sans Fresno). It sucks for the ones who already have it in purple :/

I asked the same to the athelitic dept... they just told me that the color will be purple and gray.... I think that the school ordered/prepaid the patch when the turf went on... and that color was purple so when they gave permission to change the colors this year it was too late and the school did not want to waste money (we're broke) to redo the patch!

It sucks! I tried to say something but unless we as fans pay it will be purple and grey... I say join the QBC and advocate that we fund the new patches.

All they have to do it not put on this patch and paint the logo like they did the wac last year. Put original patch back on.

added man hours and paint. Old field took over 100 gallons of paint and over 8 hours with a crew to paint the field per game.

I kinda like the purple one at Bulldog stadium...Makes it look like we have been in the league for a while vs being our first year in. It also doesn't distract our checkerboard end zone nor the "V" emblem on the field. Nothing wrong with having the throwback look. After all we should have been in the original lineup when the WAC was split up.

Man... the MWC logo is terrible... It is too large, and cartoonish. And the purple color really wrecks the look of you field.

The logo needs to be simplified and redone. It is terrible branding.

I agree it doesnt look bad... I wondering what it would look like with Cardinal and Blue? I might prefer that if I could envision it but again this doesnt look bad at all the more I look at it the better I feel about it.

We could do a poll on any logo for any conference or team and no more than 30% will approve of it. the logos fine just use team colors

csu's is green and gold on their uniform, so i think purple will be for the conference stuff only.
