  1. IMO the Mwc will work out some kind of deal with UH because I'm sure the higher ups realize that by taking all this money from UH, they'd be turning the program from a mid- to upper-tier team (well, maybe not this year) to an annual Mwc bottom-feeder. Less money for UH means less money for recruiting, facilities, coaches salaries, etc. So far, no big sponsors are stepping up to replace the dinero that UH is losing to the Mwc.
  2. Although I'm new to this forum I've enjoyed reading the thoughtful posts that your father always wrote. My condolences to you and your family...
  3. Great match! CSU is a VERY TALL team. They play some good defense and I can see why they beat #2 Nebraska earlier in the season. They will be very good in the future, and I hope my Wahine don't end up playing them in future NCAA tournaments!
  4. Sup guys -- First post here so take it easy... I seem to remember reading in the StarAd that UHAD JD said that the WAC was going to start making UH pay travel subsidies anyway. Could someone clarify this---could the WAC have started demanding UH travel subsidies? How does that work? And what if UH didn't agree? Could the WAC have kicked UH out? Anyway, I see this as the best situation for UH, and our program isn't in a position to ++++ about subsidies. Whatever conference will have us from now on, I think UH will be paying for their travel.
