Sand Volleyball Teams

Recommended Posts

Several universities started new Women's Sand Volleyball teams this year. SJSU just finished it's inaugural season and it was a rough one, 0-12. Does your school have a Sand Volleyball team? http://www.sjsuspartans.com/sports/w-svolley/recaps/041914aaa.html

One of the best sports to play and great to watch as a spectator as well. I hope this takes off.

On the plus side, SJSU announced over 2,000 in attendance per game. Hard to tell by the photo, the fans were all on the other side of the court...in the good sand.

He doesn't always tell jokes...but when he does...they aren't funny.

First year for Boise State, must be rough playing a

sport that doesn't involve home games.

Pretty sure they are building a pit with seating this summer, maybe by the new football practice field?

Pretty good first year for BSU with all road games and sweeps of Oregon and Washington.

Thought I read that Air Force, CSU, and Utah have or are exploring teams as well. Hopefully this takes off! Very fun to watch.

I think, therefore I'm.

I heard teams are trading the price of travel subs for Hawaii sand. Good deal!

The Spartans don't have a home facility yet. All their games were roadies with the closest held at Los Gatos High School, which is 11 miles from SJSU.

One would expect UH to be dominant at this sport.

UH is one of three teams in the west to advance to the National Championship in Alabama! #1 USC and #2 Pepperdine joins #3 Hawaii.
