son of a gun
Gooooo Pokes! This is basically a "make or break" game for both teams if they want to become bowl eligible. But our secondary lost one of our better players, which is a worry, as his backup was picked on throughout the Hawaii game. Our offense also needs to keep the ball moving after the opening drive. Seriously, about every opening drive we've had, we score or at least move the ball quite a bit. We look solid. After that drive though, it's like we suddenly forgot that we're supposed to move the ball down the field and score. And hopefully the right side of our o-line remembers how to run block, as they forgot to block some d-linemen against Hawaii, and they dragged Wick down from behind. If they do get on their blocks, our run game should be fine.

pokerider
I have no idea how this game will unfold but if the Pokes can't sustain pressure on the QB, it could be a long day for 'em.

crixus
Wyoming's lost their last two games, and we beat them the last year. My biggest concern is that were coming off a bye week. We'd better not come out slow or they'll probably take advantage of it. *We have to be ready from the get go to win this one on the road.

smltwnrckr
If Joe Gray improves over the last game, like he did from Nevada to UNLV, and they used the bye to draw up some RZ plays that work, I think SJSU got dis. Planning is an exercise of power, and in a modern state much real power is suffused with boredom. The agents of planning are usually boring; the planning process is boring; the implementation of plans is always boring. In a democracy boredom works for bureaucracies and corporations as smell works for skunk. It keeps danger away. Power does not have to be exercised behind the scenes. It can be open. The audience is asleep. The modern world is forged amidst our inattention.

happycamper
Pillow fight... Fresno State and UNLV already played. Remember that every argument you have with someone on MWCboard is actually the continuation of a different argument they had with someone else also on MWCboard.
