  1. Are you sure Boise won't fix one of their games this upcoming yr and point shave like they did when they choked against TCU last yr?
  2. If Hawaii doesn't like our rules.....I hear Karl Benson has room in the WAC if they want to return The MWC is bending over backwards in allowing this partnership to continue.
  3. UNM will fight tooth and nails to stay away from NMSU. That lineups makes me sick! UNM has options and if the UNM/BYU to BIG12 deal falls through.....at worst we have a soft landing in CUSA thanks to our buddies from UTEP.
  4. Truth is I don't blame Hawaii one bit. Only a moron will agree to stay in a dead WAC with Idaho, SJSU, LaTech, NMSU, Texas St., UTSA, Seattle, Denver, and Montana. Talk about a bunch of talentless losers that will only steal from Hawaii's revenue fund. Hawaii is best served to go INDY and have 7 home games and 5 road games. What team and what recruit wouldn't love to make a travel to Hawaii. Not to mention the BIGWEST would be a good short-distance soft landing for the nonrevenue sports. IMHO LaTech is also better served to join CUSA or SunBelt. No sense whatsoever to stay in the WAC with once again talentless losers like SJSU, Idaho, and others.
  5. I think in this scenario it might be best for a MWC and CUSAWest merger. MWC WEST Boise St. Fresno St. Nevada UNLV SDSU HAWAII MWC EAST WYO CSU AIR FORCE HOUSTON UTEP SMU If the CUSAWest schools says NO.......then the MWC might need to offer a bone to Utah St, NMSU, and Hawaii. If TCU heads to the BIGEAST.....that might be good news for UNM as it opens up a slot in the BIG12. They are looking for two teams. I might be willing to make up with BYU fans and quit the smack talk......should UNM and BYU partner up the better good of man kind! ;)
  6. Adding SMU for the Dallas Market is like adding the Los Angeles Clippers for the LA Market. LALAKERS=TCU LACLIPPERS=SMU
  7. Why the hell do we need SMU. We already have TCU to represent Dallas. I say HOUSTON and UTEP. Provided the BIG12 doesn't break apart anytime soon.....those are our 2 best options. If the BIG12 breaks up again due to shenagians by Texas or TexasA&M.......I think depending on who is left in the BIG12.....we might be able to steal a few teams from them.....then again they might be able to steal teams from us as well. BIG12 football revolves around Texas, TexasA&M, and Oklahoma. Take them out of the BIG12.....and the BIG12 is not attractive from a football perspective. Many different scenarios can occur: SCENARIO 1: PAC12 decides to go to 16. They invite Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma St. Texas A&M decides to go to the SEC. Missouri goes BIG10 This leaves the BIG12 with Texas Tech, Kansas, KansasSt., IowaSt. The MWC could invite Texas Tech, Kansas, Kansas St, UTEP, Houston, and Memphis for a 16 team super conference. The SEC invites TexasA&M, Florida State, Miami, and VaTech. The BIG10 invites NotreDame, Missouri, Pitt, and Rutgers. ACC abosrbs the BIGEAST by inviting Syracuse, WVU, UCONN, USF, Cinci, and Lousiville. Along with Villanova football and the ACC has a 16 team conference. CUSA replaces their 3 losses with Iowa State, LaTech and NMSU. The WAC keeps BYU, Utah St., SJSU, Idaho, so they can play YAFL Flag football Or those 4 teams can join CUSA for a 16 team conference.
