To pass the time...

Recommended Posts

This has been a long summer already, post some highlight video of upcoming recruits to help pass the time.

James Caraway, projected WR.

Sorry tried to embed it, but it didn't work.

Looks like he needs some time in the weight room, but if he can build the bulk without loosing too much speed then he looks to be a good pick up. He has quick feet and a good change of direction.

I will add one

Justin Moreaux a WR out of Louisiana that signed with TCU, also had offers from Georgia, Arkansas, Louisiana Tech, and Tulane. I heard he may be a bit of a grade risk though, so hopefully he qualifies and makes it to campus.

Those are impressive numbers, looks to be a kid that could have an impact from the start, hopefully he makes it. Caraway will probably redshirt 2008, and I would think that with a year of lifting, he should bulk up. His reel is impressive considering that his team went 1-8

If you are really, really into Utah football recruiting here is the Youtube channel with the 2008 recruits.

I think most Utah fans think that one (or more) of the 3 JC receivers the Utes signed are the most likely to have a quick impact.

WR Aiona Key whose 17 TD receptions led the Nation for JC TD catches. (80 receptions for 1,112 yards overall)

WR David Reed who set the national record for JC receptions (10 game season) with 111 catches (for 1661 yards)

TE Dudley LaPorte the nation's leading JC TE in receptions (30), yards (500) and touchdowns (4) in 2007.

Hopefully at least one or two of this trio will make an impact on Utah's receiving corps.
