USF's Best Player reportedly trying to transfer to SDSU

Recommended Posts

Last year UNLV got Cody "Churchball" Doolin, who was essentially a scrub..... Didn't do much.

Well, USF's best player this year is transferring as well---Mark Tollefsen.    Tollefsen is sort of a poor man's Larry Nance Jr.

Tollefsen's rumored top destination school right now is San Diego State.

Interesting, looks like he can even make some 3s, not great rebounder, but love the efficiency so I assume he is a good finisher.

He's pretty skinny, but he's definitely a good scorer from all over the court.

Why not transfer to UNLV. I mean Rice did interview there.

Rice loves San Francisco.

Looks athletic and can shoot it.

Your administration is the reason why our basketball league is bleeding out currently. If you didn't insist on San Jose being in the MWC, so you guys would have someone that votes similar to SDSU, every team in the MWC wouldn't have to play 2 games vs. a team with a 330 RPI ranking EVERY season.

You guys are as stupid as you are desperate.   - Cowboy Junky

Hell, if Rice loses enough players this year and gets desperate, I could also see this kid transferring to UNLV.

A USF pipeline to UNLV.

Didn't he lead the league in assists?

San Diego State has a ceiling until they make major improvements on offense.

After watching a mediocre Virginia Commonwealth team make a Final Four a few years ago when they were probably the last team in the field, I figure that just about anybody can go to a Final Four.

That was a fluke.

Good looking player adding to the pieces of the Aztecs. Wants to elevate his talent leaving the WCC to the MWC with a contender going to NCAA tourney. Who else is there in the WCC besides the Zags? Aztecs are proven recruiters.

I hate harping on Doolin. He probably did more off the court than he did on. He really took to McCaw and maybe taught a freshman a lot and looked what happened.

Yeah all that talent was the difference in leading USF to a 14-18 season and a 7th place finish in the WCC at 7-11. No doubt he will be in the running for MWC POY next season.
