I went and saw it today. Really liked it. I wish there was some more backstory as to what happened and how they got to that point. But I think it did a good job, portrayed what a civil war might look like. It certainly doesn’t glorify war in any way.

This doesn’t feel like a proportional response to the embassy strike but Iran was just looking for a reason to strike Israel.

As it should be. Don’t have a child if you can’t support it. As for the tax benefits of having a child, we need to encourage people to have more children. Who else do you think is going to pay for your social security and keep the economy moving forward. Only way to do that is sustained population growth.

We don’t do any credit work. We farm it out to other companies that specialize in it. Too much risk.

my finances are fine. I just want my hand out. Heres some math. Forgiving my student loan debt will free up $500 a month in paying to the government. Instead I would pump the money into the local economy cause I’m not saving it. That $500 a month will generate $3k a month in additional economic activity, or 36k a year. So forgiving my loan will create a job for somebody else.

Just calling out hypocrisy. I’m glad the PPP loan helped out your company. That was the point and I support it. I just don’t get why you’re so against helping out others.

I get what you're saying but this is the one time I'd ever benefit from a government handout and I want it. If that makes me a mooch, so be it. I'll pay 35x+ the loan forgiveness amount in taxes over the next 20 years. We fund a lot of stupid shit in this country. We give out a lot in grants to people but this is what we're upset about? For the record, I have zero issue with the PPP loans. They were absolutely necessary.

Don't throw stones in glass houses, Bob. The company you work for (per the email address you registered with here) got a PPP loan. Biden is going about doing student loan forgiveness within the confines of the law passed by congress. There's no difference. It's just you don't like or agree with it.
