  1. What are you on about? When you have a government you have discrimination. I would prefer to have as small amount of government as possible. A weak government can't carry out its discrimination as far as your prized "far leftist" governments do today, on a daily basis. You want to grow government, hoping to fix the problems that government created? It's insanity. Your God, the State, is responsible for almost everything you hope it will fix. Government is the greatest evil visited upon mankind. It has killed tens of millions in political revolutions, sent innocents to die in wars, created elite classes, and institutionalized racism. This is what you prize. This is what I believe should be minimized to the barest of utility: Government should protect life, liberty, and property and nothing else. As George Washington said, "Government is not reason, it is not eloquence-it is force! Like fire it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master; never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action." Yet for 200 years we have done the opposite of this and now we answer to our government and not the other way around.
  2. Discrimination only matters when it is enforced by the state. A weak government lends no power to bigots.
  3. States' rights is literally enshrined in our Constitution. It's the reason the U.S. exists. There's also the supremacy clause for things like civil rights. My issue with abortion is that women do have rights over their bodies. They can abstain from sex or use birth control. This is totally within their control. They can do a Plan B. They can get an IUD. I think most Medicaid covers sterilization, like getting "tubes tied." Where I take issue is with abortions as birth control. I think it's inhuman to repeatedly kill fetuses just because you can't be bothered or convinced to wear a condom or use other birth control measures. And it's disturbing that something like 96% of abortions are abortions that are performed due to the inconvenience of a baby. Only like 4% of abortions are due to rape, incest, or life-threatening complications. Almost all of them are because the pregnant woman is careless and then doesn't want to be "punished with a baby."
  4. Drove up to Dayton Ohio and snagged this photo. We also went to the National Air Force Museum which was also awesome.
  5. Prohibition was the problem before decriminalization, and it was still the problem during decriminalization. And, the spike in overdose deaths in Oregon had little to nothing to do with decriminalization. It had everything to do with fentanyl, which came to America because of .... prohibition. The drug war is why we have these types of drugs. It's easier to smuggle extra-strong drugs like fentanyl and meth. Yet most addicts don't want fentanyl, and most would do something else besides meth. This is what's available thanks to ... prohibition. But yes, let's keep playing right into the hands of big pharma and the prisons for profit, and let's keep this drug war going for reasons.
  6. Moar prisons, I guess. Dumb.
  7. Big Boomer energy. Trump is both a braggart and a crybaby, yet a third of the country wants to suck his hog. It proves to me the average person is pretty dumb, and unfortunately there's a lot of people who are even dumber than average.
