  1. I think the switch of position and lack of talent around has forced DS into a bad spot. His tackling has left a bit to be desired this year as well.
  2. After further thought, I'd move Wyoming above Nevada, and Switch Hoser and Choo Choo State.
  3. Because without looking, or referencing any data, that is what "seemed" correct. As far as Hoser and Choo Choo, well, you'd have to go waaay back, but both schools have had some pretty good teams many moons ago. The AzzHats are similar to Hoser and Choo Choo, but their recent down years haven't been as bad. Overall, their record is similar to FS, they have just been more a feast or famine type of team.
  4. If someone asked me to rank that list, off the top of my head, without the stats provided... TCU BYU Boise State Utah Fresno State San Diego State Hawaii Air Force Colorado State Nevada Utah State San Jose State Wyoming New Mexico UNLV
  5. Florida State Michigan State Baylor Auburn
  6. From what I've seen, and admittedly it is a small sampling. I've watched all of one game and most of three others. As far as UNLV goes, I've watched two games
  7. I think you need to take a look at their resume' and watch last nights game. Ball State is no better than UNLV (not a knock on the Rebs), their schedule is pathetic, and Toledo is really no better. Iowa will almost certainly finish 6-6 in an over-hyped BIG, but a solid win regardless. Fresno will end up with wins, if we finish undefeated, over Rutgers (7-5 at least), Boise State (8-4 at least), SUDs (7-5 probably), Hoser (7-5 probably), and UNLV (6-6 probably). Every one of these teams are just as good, if not better than Toledo or Ball State. Put UNLV in the MAC east and they conference play 6-2 - 8-0. In the West they'd finish 5-3 - 7-1.
  8. One hour drives vs. three hour drives...don't see the similarity.
  9. I think you are twisting things a bit, but fair enough.
  10. More of a college atmosphere at Texas State vs. UTSA...info from a friend who lives in Austin and is a Bobcat Alumn. During her six years in San Marcos she spent a fair amount of time in both San Antonio and Austin. You don't like opinion, and that's fine. Edited: Rudeness and bad form. My apologies to Ronnie.
  11. Alums, plus not bad places for road trips.
  12. They have been steadily building their AD over the last eight years or so. They actually have a solid fan base to build around, not such a finicky pro-type base at UTSA. Planted squarely between San Antonio and Austin - good location. Baseball is solid tto very good.
