  1. If all your schools merge with the PAC, I think you want to retain Gloria Nevarez and give GK a pink slip. Also, I bet you will get twice as much money from Apple as anyone else will offer. That will be interesting. You and WSU, OSU are officially on the clock now.
  2. I didn't know that your step kid went to the University of Utah.
  3. Champ won't be in a play-in game unless it's a Sacramento State caliber team, and possibly not even then. There's the play-in for the 16 seed auto-bids and there's play-in for the last at-large teams. There's no play-in for a 12 seed auto-bid winner.
  4. Bring along Boise, UNLV, and CSU and we'll guarantee you a spot.
  5. I think some of the fans do, but I doubt the admin doe$
  6. The conference hasn't even had a final 4 since 2008, I don't think the PAC 12 will make much noise in the tournament.
  7. Have to take SJSU. They'll beat Fresno after Fresno beats SDSU. UNR will lose to UNLV. Perfect storm for this board. Edit: Either that, or New Mexico takes it and Noodles gets an extension.
  8. I like what happened with the double header where BYU/USC and then Gonzaga/Arizona tipped off in related neutral site games same venue, same day. It wasn't a tournament so the teams could still go schedule those. Being neutral site, it didn't create the home/away problems that a conference challenge creates. It was also WCC against PAC 12 in about the only way the PAC 12 could stomach a challenge against a non-power conference. You don't need to get the whole conference involved to create a multi-game atmosphere. SDSU and UNLV could probably do something like that with mid to upper-tier PAC schools.
  9. I was a big fan of coach Rose early on, but he's been completely out of his element for the last few years. He's run off potential contributors (which never sat well with me) so he could get 'his guys', and 'his guys' are failing miserably. They aren't getting coached up and they are only really sat if they get in foul trouble (so it's better for them to shoot a dumb transition three than play aggressive defense). Ironic that BYU basketball is tanking at the same time as MWC basketball even though BYU doesn't really play any of you right now.
  10. November games. That's interesting. Looks like Stunner was onto something.
  11. And openly calling for constitutional amendments, aka violations of the law to support his viewpoint.
  12. The irony is that UofM is by far the most discriminating poster in this thread.
  13. What we are vehemently disagreeing with you about is the other part of your post. Making churches 'comply with nondiscrimination laws'. You bolded the part where someone said gays who try to force churches to marry them are wrong and said churches should be forced to comply. That is absolute bull. My church would get out of the marriage business period before they would marry gays in their temples. You have no understanding of religious conviction, which is showing.
  14. Because they want to destroy the group, they don't really want to join it.
  15. I'm starting to doubt that. He is more despised than Clinton in my circles. Most of the people I know who were leaning toward voting for him wanted to do it because they preferred him to Clinton, and figured the state would go to one of those two. That may no longer be the case. Besides, look at this very telling graphic:
