  1. Hawaii should just go independent. At least half the MWC plus BYU would play them annually plus a PAC and Sun Belt school or two. Tired of the complaining on subsidies. Not like everybody else isn't broke too
  2. Strongly doubt Hawaii goes independent - the whole world is moving the opposite direction and once you step off that ledge, there's no guarantee of any safety net if it fails. Keep in mind everyone is looking at going to 9 league games, and inter-league scheduling, plus the possibility of getting into a playoff seems remote if not in a league. So it's not so simple as just a money/travel subs argument.
  3. Since UNLV beat Hawaii, I'd love to see UH go unbeaten in that league.
  4. Texas State is in the Sun Belt next year not CUSA
  5. You got that score backwards. Utah got spanked in South Bend by 28-3.
  6. Wow really puts things into perspective. I never met or spoke to the guy and I'm genuinely saddened. My prayers are with you and your family.
  7. Good god people are so bitter. They are gone... Not coming back. Well all be fine and get to enjoy our schools just the same. How many more sour grapes threads are needed? Killing this board
  8. He sounded pretty good til he said BYU to the Pac. That will never happen people who say things like that just shows how little people pay any attention to what happens in the Pacific time zone. Pac 10/12ers are so elitist and liberal they would never take in a religious school. The ACC inviting Big East schools is actually pretty predictable as if even one school from their league goes to SEC it will be a big loss in football and they'd have to poach to try and stay in the same ballpark as the Big 10 and SEC. Either way I do agree next week will be wild. But I still think the Big 12 survives at the end of the day. TExas wants it to and several of the Big 12 schools except Oklahoma and maybe Missouri, don't really have much better options than the Texas conference. If oklahoma leaves, then its over
  9. Tulsa is losable also. Id like to see Boise go unbeaten but I have a feeling the unfamiliar opponents every week is being underplayed a bit.
  10. I'm amazed everyone assumes Boise will be in a new conference and just run-through everyone. Georgia, Air Force, SDSU, TCU... I see 4 losable games for Boise and i think they drop at least one.
