  1. Alright so who you guys choosing the orange incest liker or the senile groper? We must've all been terrible people in our last lives to have such bad options.
  2. I guess so but by that measure Gonzaga has more elite 8 since 2015 than UCLA has since 2000. Truth is UCLA dominated the old tourney, but not since it expanded.
  3. This is moronic when you look at when some of these "Elite 8's" happened. Anything before like 99-00 is meaningless IMO. And certainly anything before tourney expansion is just goofy. Are we listing all time performance or the best programs right now, today.
  4. I wasnt replying to that list but what was said in a post
  5. Yeah, weird that Gonzaga can’t be a blue blood meanwhile what has UCLA done in the last 25 years that Gonzaga hasn’t? People pretend like some of these programs are still in the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s as if that wasn’t more than a generation ago now.
  6. Indiana being on lists like this after the last 20+ years is why, it seems to me, this blue blood designation is BS. Indiana wished it had the last 20+ years that Gonzaga has had. Is Gonzaga a blue blood? I don't know and I really don't care, but its def a better program than Indiana and has been for years now.
  7. Blue Blood sounds a lot like prom king/queen. If it’s just most money and fans then it’s just a popularity contest. Fine, then UCONN isn’t a blue blood which proves it’s a bs made up designation.
  8. Yes, it's usually in August, 2 or 3 weeks before the season starts. Besides Hoke having a fluke season in 2022, he was mostly a vibe/energy suck. With a young HC and a more exciting offense, I expect this year's fan fest to be better than the last one. Bars not very high.
  9. The pricing is rough, no matter how you slice it. But between debt service and coach and support staff salaries, it's probably necessary. I just hope Sean Lewis can reignite the program. People show up in this town if you are exciting.
  10. As members of the BIG, the west coast schools are likely going to get more 4pm K/Os. I could see the B12 dabbling more in the late slot, but not too much since most of their fans will be in CST(IOW, kickoff at 9:30pm).
  11. T25 rankings are about wins and name recognition. PAC12 had plenty of both(finally, wrt wins) last season. That doesn't change the fact that more people are watching CFB at 4pm PST than 7:30pm PST. 75% of the US pop lives in CST and EST, only 7% in Mtn, and 18% in PST. I'm guessing the biggest brands in the PAC didn't love these late games...
  12. For all the exciting games it produced, PAC12 after dark wasn't exactly setting the world on fire in the CST and EST time zones wrt ratings. Despite the BIG adding 4 West Coast schools, I highly doubt all those programs start playing night games every week. Same with B12, they'll play some but 2nd half of the season they will barely play any that late. ACC? Lol, even worse. If so, that will create an opportunity for the MW that the P2 and M2 probably don't want: near-complete ownership of the 7:30pm PST to 8pm PST kickoff slot. Still a lot of folks up in PST at that time and the MW used to have a P12 game on everyweek pulling viewers away from our games...
  13. He has to figure out, as a totally legit Aztec fan, why this isn’t as good as it seems. Leave him to it.
