  1. Israel trying to respond to this is unwise. Good grief only minor damage happened. Seems like a fair exchange for who they took out.
  2. I hope be does well. Who knows. He had 2 good years at BYU
  3. His stat guy saved his ass. He hit the portal hard early and BYU wasn’t good under him until this year. At one point we had 5 gentiles starting in 21 I believe and we had the worst team since the Cleveland rebuild. I had no clue what he was doing. Then He brought in the money ball guy and they revamp the defense and offense and bought into playing, recruiting and developing LDS talent. Bingo the end of 22/23 and 23/24. Not sure what he will do at Kentucky. Stats and development seems to be his key, not sure how he will adjust to one and done players at Kentucky.
  4. BYU should not go after Burgess or Madsen. 1. Go after one of the LDS staff members on current staff 2. best JC LDS coach 3 best D2 LDS coach 4. best HS LDS coach 5. Robe 6. best gentile who has read the Book of Mormon Any of the 6 will be better than the Pope years mark it down.
  5. Khalifa is already thinking of staying. If we can land the JC or HS coach ASAP we should be good and probably get Hall back. BYU lives in an alternate universe what others school would thrive with our hiring process. BYU fans are up in arms. We have never needed or hired an experienced D1 coach why in the world would we need one now. But It’s the B12 robe, well BS we will be fine. We have more wins than any other team in the B12 not named KU I don’t anticipate that changing.
  6. Still less than Utah. Apparently the empty arena isn’t a basketball Mecca. This is the 1st team in decades that has had a pulse. Even so they still had an empty arena to play in. Utah basketball would rank near the bottom of the MWC in attendance
  7. BYU’s last hires all very successful. D1 school which was a recently a JC assistant coach JC Coach assistant coach very successful D1 coach assistant coach assistant coach HS coach I suspect they will hire an assistant D1, JC or HS coach and he will be very successful. Madsen would be an unprecedented hire for BYU so I doubt it happens. The Church spends an enormous amount of money at BYU for its students. It is highly subsidized by the church. They won’t spend a ton of money for a coach. My son will probably leave BYUI with close to 100k networth due largely to his mentor and father being a genius and the church subsidizing his education and providing high paying internships to pay for college and investments. I also told him to maximize his Biden school loans for investment. One of the few kids to grow wealth while at college.
  8. It looks like it’s over. One civilian slightly hurt. Iran considers the matter closed, according to AP article I just read. They are lucky Israel didn’t take out their nuclear facilities. I assume they warned Israel to were it was coming similar to how they told the US when they counter struck us. They didn’t want causality or an escalation but they needed to save face. They are cowards and want to just keep an endless proxy war going. They will try to strike harder with the puppets they have. I assume it’s over now. Israel took out a bunch of bad dudes and Iran felt like they saved face.
  9. Losing Keegan Brown will be almost as big as losing Pope. He put together the strategy for this year along with finding khalifa or at least finding out how well he would fit. He is the money ball analyst we need to keep. BYU won’t pay up to keep him I’m sure. Holding onto him is our biggest key. Head coach can be fill in the blank. I actually would forget about Madsen he is too expensive. Burgess, Fueger or Dave Rice doesn’t matter. Maybe Rice or Burgess might be the best since they are proven recruiters.
  10. Farnham was saying Ryan Smith needs to fork over the money because that was BYU’s only option. Not good. My 10 year old son is having his 1st BYU heartbreak. I just told him Pope sinned against the Holy Ghost.
  11. His 2020 team was good, mostly left over from Rose. I was beginning to wonder if he was the guy until this year. If I was a Kentucky fan I would be livid as well. I hope he does well. He was decent at UVU and until this year just average at BYU.
