  1. Im not sure a configuration for soccer would be wise. A soccer field is too long and too wide (is soccer popular in Hawaii?), and would put the fans too far away from the action. IMO, I think football only for the most “bang for your buck” fan experience and game situation impact would be good. https://turftank.com/us/academy/how-big-is-a-soccer-field/ “Typically, for official national games, the standard soccer field will be anywhere from 100 to 130 yards long and 50 to 100 yards wide, but the numbers can vary with the age group and level of play.”
  2. I don’t understand a the bickering going on on the new board. I just wanted a place to go talk about the Lobos. Don’t understand why people have to attack or talk about other people? BBW is my admin and he’s done a great job with the board so far, and I try to stay out of bickering. Im hoping that we can get beyond the infighting and just talk Lobos.
  3. That’s what I was wondering, is his successor within your program? Continuity for the players would be huge for Wyoming. Go get that bowl win Pokes!
  4. need confirmation... BUT LOTS OF CHATTER. kslsports.com/508449/bronco-mendenhall-head-coach-new-mexico-report-former-byu-football/ www.deseret.com/2023/12/5/23989329/cfb-coaching-jobs-bronco-mendenhall-favorite-to-land-new-mexico-position footballscoop.com/news/new-mexico-to-hire-bronco-mendenhall-as-head-coach
  5. Unfortunately, as we start to beat each other up in conference play, schools will be knocking some out of contention. I think that we may be down to 3 by the end of the regular season, but yeah, looking good right now.
  6. And one less body bag game for a certain team in Nuevo Mexico!
  7. Hard to believe St. Mary’s was ranked when they whipped UNM pretty convincingly just a couple weeks ago, to now being just 3-5?
  8. That's ruff. Best of luck to him and his family, and hoping he gets healthy again soon!
  9. Personally, I still think that the MWC will bail out the twins with this agreement, and then somewhere before the 25/26 season, we will see how twins have been working to destroy the MWC for their own benefit. They are working secretly together to gut the MWC, imo, and us bottom dwelling schools (UNM).
  10. From the MWC... "Next season, all 12 MW teams will play seven traditional Conference football games in addition to one contest against either Washington State or Oregon State for a total of eight games (four home and four away). The games against OSU and WSU will not count toward the conference standings, and neither Pac-12 school is eligible for the MW championship game. The Mountain West is currently working on the football schedule and will release matchups soon." https://themw.com/news/2023/12/01/mountain-west-announces-football-scheduling-agreement-with-oregon-state-and-washington-state/ Abq paper... https://www.abqjournal.com/sports/oregon-state-washington-state-mountain-west-agree-to-football-scheduling-arrangement/article_c010b16d-98f7-56c9-bbd9-87c0ecae88b8.html
  11. If you don’t mind, I’m gonna borrow your list and post it on another site. Great info here, much appreciated!
  12. I don’t think he’ll take it either. With Kill being his best bud, I don’t know that Patterson would want to build any animosity, having to recruit and then compete against him. Besides, UNM won’t pony up any more money for a decent head coach to even consider. IMO, UNM will hire an up and coming and young, FCS coach.
