Recommended Posts

TCU has picked up their 8th verbal commit for the football class of 2009 with the addition of 4* rivals top 250 athlete Jurell Thompson out of Witchita Falls Rider High School. Thompsom is 5-11, 191 pounds with a 4.5 40. TCU will give him a look at RB and DB. Thompson held offers from TCU, Tulsa, Arizona State, Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Utah, and SMU. \

the Frogs are assembling an amazing class for 2009. Winning 10 games is a must, in order to keep these kids committed through the year.

A.J.Dugat is probably not going to get 4 starts, but he deserves 'em. Beaver looks like he's buying the lines Michigan is feeding him (that their super-star QB commit is coming to Ann Arbor as a athlete, etc.) and will commit to them tomorrow. Pachall is wowing the troops at the Nike camp; he'll be the most talented QB at TCU since one Sam Baugh...

Nice work, Froggies.

I expect Dugat to probably be a high 3 star in the rivals rankings at first, with a chance of getting up to 4 if he has a really productive senior season. Good thing is that the Dayton HS QB is also very talented, so Dugat should put up big numbers.

I know Utah was looking at Thompson so I watched a few vids on him... He looks like a good old fashion "sticker" at safety. Realizing it is all guesswork I would not be surprised if he turns out to be a fine player for the Frogs.

Hummm...that would mean he would have to be better than TCU's legendary Davey O'Brien.

If that becomes a reality..then the Frogs would have indeed hit the proverbial jackpot.... B)
