  1. I like SDSU and they definitely have more market potential but the fact remains that a perennial top 25 football team goes a long way for value. There is a network that was interested in hosting only BSU home games. That says something.
  2. Agreed when you consider the highlights of the MWC this week.
  3. Hmm. Chances of someone seeing a game on basic cable/sat package on Wednesday night>Chances of someone with a premium package seeing a game on the mtn on Saturday.
  4. I have been saying this ever since the merger unraveled.
  5. As compared to the 2013 line-up MWC? You did get USU's stunning win over Utah and San Jose State's win over FCS team UC Davis. Beyond that you get nothing including 2 losses to FCS teams. Just saying that the MWC has no room to talk trash after this week.
  6. Easy, TCU left the conference and Temple appears to be on the upswing.
  7. Man that's terrible, we may not have always agreed but I respected the man. All my best to his family.
  8. That's an interesting story but what happens if we take a look at both conferences' overall win loss records for each team. You will discover that 25% (or less if you count Navy) of the BE teams have records of below .500. On the other hand 60% of the Mountain West conference have overall records of below .500.
  9. Fox Sports Net is a regional carrier. I guess they could be expanded. I agree though that if anyone is going to take on ESPN in terms of coverage that they need to get themselves locked into basic cable/sat packages. That is one of the things that drives me nuts about the cluster mess of Mountain West channels, have to get a who mess of expensive expansion options in order to see everything.
