    The WNIT is still independent, the NCAA sanctioned women's tournament is the WBIT and will host it's championship in Indy with the NIT. WBIT is new this year. Congrats to the Cowgirls!!     Can't leave UNM out of the mix when talking about how good the MW was way back when. Since Don Flanagan left we've been mediocre.

    I was travelling yesterday and didn't see anything but the scores and stats. I'm not going to watch anything to get enlightened on the game, I just can't. It was great to win the MW tourney, it was an incredible MW conference season, in fact the best conference season I've experienced in the 40+ years I've been following Lobo basketball. Hopefully this year is a building block for winning the conference and building a team that goes farther in the tourney.

    Lobos are 9-3 when Mashburn shoots .400 or better. 8-5 when he's shooting under .400.

    Ledee has already missed more field goals than he did against the Lobos on less than half the attempts. SDSU is clearly the better team. The announcers have clearly indicated it as well. The scoring drought was later in the game, not to start. Hopefully you all pick it up after the half.
