Which would build on the our limited understanding or grasp of it all. So maybe the last bit of what we can actually understand is merely a precursor of what is to come. Either way, we can only use what we think we know. One open of a switch could trigger a breaker to flip elsewhere, and there we will have those lights switch on. The only fact we know is that this vessel will not be used when the things we know do happen (death), happen. Either way, I do hope for a nice trip (first one) when the end of the known comes.

Fair enough. I would be fine with a public shaming, but feds gonna fed. -

In all honesty, why? What crime was truly committed. If true, I don't think calling someone a racial slur is a chargeable offense without a threat. I don't mind someone being publicly called to the floor and face the social consequence for their actions, but seems like a dog and pony show with a full-blown investigation. -

And sort of to both @halfmanhalfbronco and @retrofade's point, I don't need to go to a church if i have a question on faith. If I am reading a Bible at home, and have a "how do I interpret this" scenario, why go to a church, slog through an hour of service that may be completely disinteresting for what my mindnis on that day, just to talk to one pastor? I can just google and get many interpretations of the text from numerous faith-based sites. Time-saver and more direct answers. I see how though studies show less attendance of places of worship, it hasn't shown less identification of faith itself.

Same issues as most Lodges, IOOF's, KofC's, etc. And also, the working class is forced to be mobile, so lasting community relationships are fractured. Of which, I assume the church is the most personal. My sister and dad are exponentially more tied to their faith than I am, but with both having moved from their familiar setting, they are not attending as regularly because it is too clique-ish at times. I am attending Easter service with my dad at a church a block from my house. He likes it because the pastor is from close to his hometown, but otherwise he has said he doesn't go like he used to, and my sister does televised service.
